(OOC: The jaguar man can only be woken up by being healed magically/potion or taking a long rest mechanically. He is no longer dying (stabilized) but is unconcious)
Benagol slaps the jaguar man to no avail. There are still roughed up and down from the brutality.
What you all find in the shop is:
The shop looks to be in order. Nothing seems to be missing from shelves, so there are a wide range of books and small trinkets on the shelves. If there was a ledger, it seems to be missing. There is a pouch of 250GP behind the counter. Reggie you do not notice any blood stains or a sign of a struggle here.
On the cloaked figures, a total of 25GP. The one who disguised as a women holding the book actually dropped the book at their feet. A small splatter of blood is on the cover, but you can now read it as "Elsath's Floura and Fauna". The inside cover has a hand written note: Property of the Diamond Library. It is signed with a "John Hancock" signature of Arrow Diamond.
On the jaguar man, you see a silver ring on the man's finger. This is no ordinary ring, so you may either spend part of a long rest examining the ring or use Identify to determine what it is.
Lastly on the jaguar man is a "hand drawn" (I can't draw so it's a screenshot) map. The script shows a map of the Desolation of Ditimaya and the Obsidian Plain. A "X" marks a spot in the Obsidian Plain with a script that reads "Well of Secrets". Our adventuring party (Benagol, Reggie, and Ardeth) knows that the Desolation of Ditimaya is about 1000 miles south of Knotside. You've heard of the town of Ugash, which is a nomad town outside of the Desolation and is the last known settlement before entering the brutal desert.
Also, as a reminder, Braun did tell the party where the Diamond Estate was located, about 20 miles north of Knotside.
Gerry will use one point of his Lay on Hands to heal the jaguar man back to consciousness. He'll also look around for any sign of a back room, storage area, secret passage, etc.
Perception/Investigation (my bonus is the same for either): 15

There are no secret doors and doesn't seem to be anything of interest other than what was already given.
With the lay on hands, the man is conscious with 1HP, barely awake from the hits they took. He doesn't make eye contact with any of you, has a dead stare at the opposite wall. Feel free to interrogate. Depending on tone you take it will be a persuasion or intimidation check.
Reggie tries to swiftly pocket the gold pouch, but with the amount of coin it does make a sound when you pick it up. Everyone would hear the coin from behind the counter with passive perception beating an 11. Do with that as you will.

"Alright, there's two ways we can do this. One, you tell us everything. Two, you refuse to talk, or lie to us. One of those two options results in bodily harm. I bet you know which is which."

Gerry looks down onto the tied up man. Even still after being restored from practical death, the man smirks at you all.
Gerry says "Alright, there's two ways we can do this. One, you tell us everything. Two, you refuse to talk, or lie to us. One of those two options results in bodily harm. I bet you know which is which."
The man replies, "That is adorable, using interrogation tactics taught by ye mum. I remember the first time I interrogated my first caught rabbit. Though, it didn't end well for the rabbit. Looks to be my fate is the same. Could say it has come full circle, ye think?" The man does not seem intimidated by being surrounded, defeated, and threatened for information.

Benagol quietly replies:
Probably...It depends...if you tortured your rabbit before getting it killed...
Remembering his cruel little cousin torturing a cat, Benagol tears away the feline-man whiskers, if it goes down to nothing he starts with removing a paw/nail.
ooc: always considering these as non lethal damages. If Intimidation is required: 7 , if others get to HELP me in any way with the interrogation: 4
Benagol you begin to torture the man, he says "Yes, that's right. Tear my ear off too!" They seem to be enjoying the torture and are not intimidated (using the advantage roll).

"Well done." Rubin speaks up, taking his hand away from his hand crossbow again. He relaxes a bit now and smiles to the group around him. "So you must be those adventurers I've been hearing so much about around here..."
you heard about us, eh?! mh, I wonder what you heard...I hope just good things...anyway, my name is Benagol and I see you behaved very well in battle...

Rubin moves back to place his back against a wall and has his hand crossbow ready, aimed at the healed cat-man.
(I can be the one to interrogate him, think I have the highest bonus.)

Ardeth hears the clink of gold and Reggie’s quick deflection as he looks to see the rogue red handed.
“Make a contribution to the nearest temple and you can have my share of that pouch. Can’t speak for the others...”
Ardeth moves to stand over the jaguar man, contributing his looming figure and mean mug look to Gerry’s intimidation check (Help).
