Yup. Krom scrapes the wall with his armor a few times, making a screeching sound. Ithelion, upon hearing this, also emits a bit of a frightful screech of her own! And in turn, Garnet issues a bit of a loud gasp as well. Daemyar however, passes by nearly silently. Luckily, there are no larger repercussions - other than the short echoes that ring out in the darkness.
You're on the next sandy ledge. Do you want to continue on stealthily down the next set of stairs?
Ithelion, you notice here and there, some humanoid footprints as well as the usual rodent tracks - although some of them are very, very large. There is nothing else of note on the ledge.
The survival check just gives you a bit more info (above). You won't fall off the stairs unless you decide to run - and even then, you might not fall. It would be very difficult to fall off the edge of the stairs right now (not impossible though ;) )
The humanoid tracks are bipedal, and some seem are narrow and small - others are a bit larger - and look like they weren’t wearing boots; you also notice some boot tracks in there as well. They seem to head towards the stairs.
The second set of stairs poses little problem in regard to being stealthy....though Krom’s armor still freaks like a rusty warforged. Luckily there isn’t much here. Though looking around this ledge, you see a shaking ball of fur looking at you with red eyes. It makes no move towards you and, judging by the trail of blood, probably couldn’t of it wanted to. You surmise this is the rat that ran away.
You see another set of stairs that plunge even deeper into the darkness. These go for a lot longer than the previous stairs, about 60 feet down.
Daemyar lines up his shot and tries to put the beast out of its misery.

”One should never leave an enemy to soak in his fear. Much like how deer meat is ruined if its death is dragged out, so too is the taste of victory ruined if an enemy is allowed to live in cowardice.”
"The only victory I have felt so far has been against the Mongrelfolk. The rest....the rest just leave me wondering why they needed to die."
She shrugs, and looks down into the depths, wondering what else is going to come along to die, or to kill. Perhaps it's inevitable that those with short lives will value life less. Contrary to what common sense would have one believe...
She shakes her head to clear the thoughts and tries to focus once again on her immediate problems.
Garnet considered Ithelion's comment. " Spiders natural instinct is to hide or run away, even if something it considers prey attacks in retaliation of being eaten." She remembers the yawning portal of the many sheilds that lay at the bottom a testament to death. Normal spiders ignore frequently trafficked areas unless it was what they were using as a feeding ground. " Just because a creature attacks by nature, does not mean you should frown on the nature to defend against attack. Winter is not evil by nature but it can kill you if you do not prepare for it." Garnet will continue down the next set of stairs. Stealth: 14
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daemyar nods at Ruby before walking up close to her. “Ya know... I’ve had this idea for awhile - and if you tell anyone, I will kill you in your sleep - but I’ve had this idea to work on a book of like... Parables, and lessons and things.” He starts to trail off. “Or maybe a book of poetry.” He raises a knife and glares at Ruby. “And what you said was good. I might let you help, if you’re interested, but I will kill you if you tell- anyone.” He then walks on ahead.
Krom just shakes his head, "Regardless if ye feel victorious or not, 'tis better fer the creature to be killed quickly rather than suffer." He follows down the next set of stairs not bothering with being stealthy seeing as the last two attempts went poorly.

Ithelion looks unconvinced by Krom's remark, "If I were the rat, then that's a choice I would have preferred to make for myself, not to have foist upon me."
She looks at the corpse one last time and shrugs, "But no matter; if it had survived, it would likely have attacked us again eventually. Leave no enemies behind -- that's what they say -- and it seems like good advice, especially if we have only one way out of here."

Daemyar would like to slow this down to a stealthy approach. People are close together, and taking their time to make sure their steps aren’t heard.

(That roll was meant for the first set of stairs, bit yes I think we should continue to umm try to be stealthy lol)
Second stair ste stealth :8
(( lol...Ithelion braces herself for the screeching from Krom as he descends the next stair. He is clearly afraid of heights, and hugging the wall. ))
Taking a deep breath, and focusing on remaining calm and quiet, Ithelion descends once more.

(( Did the Survival roll have any clear relevance? Anything I should do differently to avoid falling off the edge? ;-) ))

Does the "very very large" apply to the rodent tracks, or the humanoid....and can she tell if the humanoid tracks are kobold or goblin?
Very very large pertains to the rats.
The humanoid tracks are bipedal, and some seem are narrow and small - others are a bit larger - and look like they weren’t wearing boots; you also notice some boot tracks in there as well. They seem to head towards the stairs.
