As the battle comes to a sudden stop, Allister comtemplates attacking Voltan nevertheless. But fearing Nenne´s rage he chooses to stop his attack. He grabs Worlo´s arm and holds it by the stump. „Get up, captain. Here, let me give you a hand.“
The chaos was over as suddenly as it had began. Boosey moves forward to address the Pirates. "Gentlemen, it may be in your best interests to lay down your arms. Worlo, as you can see, is already half way there," he says with a smirk, "I suggest you all follow suit and end this unfortunate display of bravado" Persuasion check 23
He turns to Nenne after the pirates. "My lady, you appear to be hurt. Allow me to attend to some of those wounds." Casting cure wounds for 10 healing
Worlo stands with Allister saying, "It hurts. The pain is too much." The wrapping around his arm is loose now having been wrapped around this part of the arm, now revealing open sores of rot where the Death Curse has been at work. Voltan backs away looking about apparently seeming to be lost or some such. The man on the side begins to wring out his wet bandana.
„Voltan, come with me. Can you show me where the captain sleeps? I bet his door can be locked, he wouldn’t want anyone to visit him at night and give him a shave with axe. Maybe we all wanna go there and get comfortable.“ Looking at Boosey he adds „If there’s no rope in this quarters we use whatever clothes or sheets we find to bind them.“
Voltan absently says, "The captain sleeps here when he's not sailing." gesturing to the center cubby hole room. The room is small and sparsely furnished. The bed looks comfy, but maybe a bit small for Worlo. There is a nightstand and a chest at the foot of the bed. A circular rug with concentric rings covers much of the cave floor.
"Well lads, you've been so kind to follow me down here, if you'd all like to take a seat for me," and he gestures to the bed in the room. Finding plenty of spare rope he says, "won't be a moment," and quickly gathers up enough for the task in hand. "Hands out gentlemen please," and he swiftly binds their wrists while whistling "Mermaid". That finished he adds, "you might find yourselves in a bit of a bind in a moment, please don't struggle or the rope will chafe." With that he starts to bind them together back to back, securing the rope tightly round them and tying it as best he can round the bed. "That should keep you out of trouble for a while. My thanks for your cooperation!"
After the pirates are tied up securely in the room, Boosey gives the chest a quick inspection. Not noticing anything untoward on it, he gives a grunt of satisfaction and leaves with Allister.
“Shit, the tavern!!“ Allister remembers the drunk pirats in the tavern, but also the sober one with his pet raptor. „Someone help me please. We need to take them in.“ He rushes towards the stairs to the tavern, draws his weapon and looks down into the room to assess the situation.
The tavern remains a mess, with men scorched near the door and others strew about in various stages of passed out drunkeness. The man behind the bar remains wary and veys he still means no harm.
Funderburk, after witnessing Allister leave the bridge leaving the pirates, looked at Fisher and smiled. "Let us go to the boat, yes?" With that, he along with his new 'friend' went to the boat just ahead of them. Funderburk found keys easily enough, and the brig of the ship soon as well. He opened the door to the cell and told Fisher to get in, once inside, he would close and lock Fisher in, still restrained. From there, Funderburk looked about the inside of the ship. He decided he should loot the ship as much as he can. He had enough common sense to know that they didn't have all the time in the world, so starting now was the best time.
Funderburk traveled around the ship looking for anything that caught his eye, and anything that seemed to be of value; checking inside rooms and quarters, hoping to find the captains quarters.

While maintaining concentration on her spell, her holy symbol glows and a subtle current of air emanates from it, like a pleasant autumn breeze. True to her word, Nenne pulls a strip of cloth from her pack and proceeds to bind the injuries of the pirate she spoke to earlier, if he'll let her. She'll also check for any signs of the death curse on him. (Medicine check 20)
"Peace to you. I am Nenne Amharat," she says to him. "What is your name?"
„Bartender! I need you to stay calm, I won’t hurt you if you behave and keep that beast from attacking anyone. If you understand, just nod. Good? Ok, now listen. I want you to take that bottle in front of you, fill a mug with its content and put it on the bar." If the man complies, Allister takes the mug and drinks from it. “Let’s talk about your life. I heard it’s up for sale, and I want to know how much you can pay. So please, take a moment to collect as much as you have. And don’t try to dupe me and my friends, we will turn this place upside down if we think we forgot about your secret stash. You may start now.“

As the pirates are tied up, and others occupied, Boosey is going to investigate the building to the west of where the party is. Approaching the doors carefully, he listens a moment to see if he can hear anything inside. After a few moments he tries to open them gingerly, before taking a furtive peep inside. Stealth check 26
Once the barman starts collecting money Allister looks around the drunks and starts emptying their pockets. „I don’t know you, bartender, and I don’t care what happens to you today. This has been one hell of a day so far, and I have too much on my mind to remember if you are still here in an hour or not. But that can only happen if I have other things to occupy my already busy head. You know, small but relevant stuff like „Where do the captains keep their loot? What can I find in which building? Are there hidden doors or traps in any rooms? Are there still more of you in this camp?“ You get the gist. Just talk while you collect some gold and I’ll listen.“
Once Nenne is finished tending to the injured man, she glances over at the strange lizardfolk on the deck nearby. Her eyes flick over him and his meal of choice, taking in the ghastly sight swiftly and impassively. She nods to acknowledge him.
"You have heard my name, no doubt," she says to Vargach in a composed, respectful tone. "I would have yours as well, in due time. I would also aid you with your wounds, if you would allow me." Her burgundy skin deepens subtly. Pointing a finger toward the man she just helped, she says, "I have laid claim to his life. He is not yours to devour. If you have quarrel with these pirates, I invite you to follow me. Should they prove themselves unworthy, I might be persuaded to relinquish my rights as the one who subdued them. While I have no interest in further violence, I have no interest in interfering with your affairs, either. Our objectives may in fact align. Peace to you." She nods again and heads toward the room where Worlo and the others are being held.
"My friends," she informs the party as she walks, calling at the top of her voice so that even those far might hear, "my influence over their emotions weakens by the moment. I know not what they will do once it frays completely. Be prepared."
Once inside, she shoulders her mace calmly and says to the pirates, "You have two choices once the flames of your spirit are rekindled: you may accept that you are beaten and put aside this foolish violence, or you may test the will of Kelemvor and risk your lives. I have gifted you this time of calm so that you may reflect soberly on your life and your actions. I urge you not to waste this opportunity. Should you choose peace, I swear upon my oath to the judge of the damned that I will protect your lives to the best of my ability. Should you choose violence, I swear upon my oath to the lord of the dead that I will use the last of my strength to usher you into his presence. The scale is before you. Place your lot upon it."
Vargach had been following the happenings absent-mindedly eating. Once the violence had begun he had fired a few arrows at the crossbow men but he had stopped when Nenne had done her thing. He did not quite understand what was happening but resolved to wait for his turn to make his case. Once spoken to, he responded. “Peace to you.” This appeared like it was a greeting the women used often. “I Vargach, guardian of La’sha’enth tribe. I kill pirates. They steal food and home. Pirates must die.”
It was clear that his common was broken, though the longer the lizardfolk spoke it, the clearer it became. There were harsh noises and hissing sounds between some words and sentences, but in general his words made sense.
The ranger contemplated his options. This was the time to swiftly strike and rid themselves of the weakened and incapacitated foes before they would work themselves out of their weak position. But it appeared clear the woman in front of him would not like that plan.
”Pirates evil. They must go. My tribe will starve and die. This our lands. This our continent. They hunt us. This must end.”
He tried to plead his way with the woman in his ineloquent ways, but the need in his voice and desperation in his eyes were true. This was the purpose he had come for and now was the time to make things happen as they had found the pirates in a state of weakness. Even if they would just be able to send for some warriors of the tribe to come and man the ballista it might be enough once the pirates were run off.
The man on the ground introduces himself as Wallace and thanks Nenne for her generosity. There aren't any signs of the Death Curse on the man and the arrow isn't very deep, but the arrow head was jagged and the wound is irregular. The cleric know it will take a long time to heal. He promises no trouble and even gives up his dagger as proof of his compliance.
The bartender angrily eyes Allister while collecting what bit of money he has stashed behind the counter. He has to tell the beast to stay several times. It doesn't look like he holds a lot of control over the thing, but he manages to keep it at bay. Allister finds a total of 73c, 48s, and 15g in pockets and on tables throughout the tavern. The bartender tosses a coin pouch (50c, 11s, and 44g) on the nearest table saying, "Take the damned coin. I hope you rot for this. Any treasure to be had from the captain's stach'll be in the storehouse across the water. Can't say if there are traps because I'm not stupid enough to go poking around in the captain's business."
As Boosey comes to the double doors at the end of the walkway he notices a sign posted that says Captains only under penalty of sharkbait rock. The gnome gingerly opens the doors to find a warehouse of sorts. Piles of grain over there, crates here and there, and by the gods treasure just there! There is a table with piles of coin that looks like it was being counted beside a chest that is propped open bearing a sizeable amount of coin and jewelry. Thrust into the rough-hewn back wall of the warehouse are scores of rusty blades — old longswords, shortswords, rapiers, scimitars, and daggers.
As Fisher goes into the cell he tells Funderburk, "I hope Umberlee takes you and your companions into her embrace." With a scowl he watches the wizard go. Searching through the ship seems to be a fruitless task until Funderburk finds the captain's quarters. Inside is a pendant with a diamond on it that looks to be of some value and a large box that contains 45 gold pieces and two Flaming Fist officer uniforms stained with large amounts of blood.
Worlo stares blankly at Sthara as if the words do not register until his awareness comes back to him. He looks away and kicks off a boot, revealing a bandaged leg also. He nods to the boot and says, "In there." Inside is a bloody letter. Once Voltan regains his composure, he stoically stares off into space, avoiding anyone's gaze. The captain's spirit seems to be broken and he is in a great deal of pain. The pain may be the real factor behind his passivity, but only time will tell.

Sthara kneels before Worlo and again asks him about the dreams.
"Are you more willing to speak about these dreams you've had now? Tell me everything."
