Bones will sit silently with the group. The room is not as busy at this time so he's a little more comfortable. He will watch closely though, as this is the group that he believes holds much magical equipment (Perception: 19), ready to spring into action should something arise.
A thought strikes Bones while he sits. He quietly and slowly makes his way next to Talinian, and whispers, "What did your owl see last night? Before bed last night, I found a single room full of arcane energy. I'm concerned that maybe all is not as it seems with this group. More importantly, it appears that the girl is happy as she is, but perhaps there is something else keeping her here with this performing group?"
"Just that she was in the room, not alone, and apparently in charge of the situation," Talinian replies. He eyes the elf-lass. "I do not know if she is under magical control. I do not know the spell to detect magic but there are signs, of course."
Talinian looks hard at Eris, studying every movement, her eyes, her mouth, where she looks, how she sounds, everything. Perhaps he can determine if her mind and thoughts are not entirely her own.
After introductions, Korba looks to Eris and says "Eris was it? May I have a word in private please?" Looking to the group he says "Don't worry, we'll simply sit over there"pointing to a table in a corner "where you can easily watch to ensure that I mean no harm to your friend. We" referring to his group, and talking back to Eris directly "have a message for you... though it's rather sensitive so would prefer it for your ears only. You can then decide what to do with the information after."
Eris nods to and moves with Korba to an empty table.
From the stairs comes a group of individuals, a pair of half elves one male one female, they look like twins, and are both darkly dressed, another half-elf, female with red hair, a Goliath with a beard, a human man wearing regal blue clothes, and two gnomes, one in golden armor, and the other in purple clothing carrying a lute. This group walks right out. Short of a nat 1 Bones you assume that this group is who pinged the detect magic last night.
(Spidey senses tingling. Did you want me to roll perception for that? Just in case: 14)
Bones nudges Talinian as he sees the group come down and whispers, "Now THEY definitely don't seem right. That could be the group that I sensed last night with all the magics. I think you may want to get ready for something to go down."
Bones reaches into the pouch at his side, slowly, to touch his wand of the war mage so that he is ready to cast Bane as soon as something looks to be going down.

Sitting down with Eris, Korba begins "My name is Korba Muriz. I am sorry to pull you away from your group like this, but you will be able to join them again soon. My companions and I were hired by your father to find you." Stopping as she no doubt looks surprised, he quickly adds "Do not worry! Through our investigations we believe that you were not kidnapped, and are here of your own freewill. Is this true?" ((insight 18)) After she nods, he continues "Since our contract specifically said to 'find' you, and not 'bring you back,' and considering that you are an adult, and there is no reason you could no go back if you wanted, we have decided to take our contract to the letter of the law, and consider our job completed now that we have 'found' you." He then pulls out the pouch that was to be given to her, as well as the wire and sets them on the table. Sliding them to her he continues "Again, through our investigations, we have found that you have a... patron... as it were. Someone who is happy for you to be on your own. They wanted you to have these things. The pouch I assume is coin for you to begin your life, and this wire... We were informed that with it you would be able to contact both your patron, as well as your father, though haven't tested it ourselves." Taking a breath, he concludes "Please note, that immediately after we talk, my friend there will be sending a message back to our employer, and to your father, informing them that we've found you, and your current location. What you do from here is up to you." He then listens if she has any questions, and if not simply stands up, heads back to his group, sits down, and nods as a sign that their job is done while ordering a drink, making it a point to no longer be watching the Bard troupe after Eris rejoins them and tells them whatever it is she tells them; to the two new members he says "Thank you for joining us, we are now ready to head North on our new contract. I also am curious to pass through the forest on our way..."
When he finds small opportunities to be alone with Talinian or Olivia, he'll give them their share of the 300 gold, and will say to each "I hope that our employer will consider this task successfully done..."
Eris sits, and does not talk. She nods her head and has a look of shock on her face, not fear but just shocked that her father would be willing to try to find her. When you walk away she just sits there, the others come to her table, and they talk in quiet voices.
Sorry I missed Bones' post. They walk right out, and don't look like trouble what so ever. (To be honest some of you might be getting a 'critical' reference.)

(OOC - oh haha, that hadn't even registered.)
When Korba joins the group, Bones nods to him. "She seems lost for words. Hope she'll be okay, though I take it that pouch will help." He nods at Korba's comments about passing through the forest on the way to the next contract, "I'm always looking for more ingredients to make potions. I'm ready to leave as soon as everyone else is."
"She does have a lot to process." Korba says, looking to the others adding "If there is nothing more, we can be off." And then looking to Talinian asks "Is your owl going to deliver your letters? What exactly did you write?"
"Actually, before we go, may I get some supplies? I need charcoal, incense or herbs to summon my own familiar. Talinian inspired me with his owl, though I'm thinking something a little... less conspicuous."
(I'll have just enough for the 10gp of supplies, but will cast it at some point while we're on the road rather than waiting here to perform the ritual.)
(Spidey senses tingling. Did you want me to roll perception for that? Just in case: 14)

Talinian nods but does not look at the group. However, after they exit he sends Baltor, sitting on the top of the inn, a command to watch them for a bit, make sure they leave the vicinity of the inn. He cannot let the owl follow them, there are the 2 letters to send back to the Guild, but keeping an eye on them should present no issues.
"She does have a lot to process." Korba says, looking to the others adding "If there is nothing more, we can be off." And then looking to Talinian asks "Is your owl going to deliver your letters? What exactly did you write?"
"That we found Eris with a troupe of bards, spoke with her here at The Frightened Fang, that to the best of our knowledge and examinations she does not appear to be under any duress, either physical or magical. I considered and rejected the idea of letting them know about the magical wire. She will contact them or not as she chooses. I also made no mention of Bali though I believe if Eris contacts her with that wire, he will deduce that part for himself."
He pauses, before going on, "I too, wish to procure some supplies. I am desirous of making scrolls for future use. I meant to do this before retiring last evening but something," he gives a pointed look at Olivia, "distracted me. In any event, it should not take long."
After they finished talking, Talinian went to the barkeep. "Excuse me, sir. Is there an establishment in this town where I might procure some magical supplies, paper, inks, that sort of thing? Also, what is my bill, please?"
(I am going to assume that we don't want to RP a shipping morning.)
Between food, and the rooms everyone owes 6 silver, unless someone was drinking a lot.
As far as magical supplies, your pointed to a shop that sells magic stuff, the owner is a Kenku, named Coin Hat. In his shop he has two bells, one marked yes, the other marked no, and an abacus tht he used for telling you how much you owe.
For the components they are at price. For fine ink and paper, roll a charisma check on a 12 or less you pay 5% more, on a 21 or higher you get a 5% discount.
This would take till midday, if there is anything else small that any of you wish to do let me know if you split the party, or plan to meet up. Other wise let me know when your ready to move on.
When Talinian makes his comment to Olivia she turns to look at him, "You mean peeping distracted you? We all know why you got your own room, there's shame Tal. Ok there is shame but only a little."
Gorm just watched and waits. As nothing eventful happens she stays well out of the events. As we move on to shopping Gorm will do some browsing in the weapons section, not really looking to buy anything unless something particularly fine jumps out at her and is within her price range. (Unlikely since she’s just a hand fold of gold... so just window shopping.)
All in all she’ll be happier when we’re at least moving towards action...
When Talinian makes his comment to Olivia she turns to look at him, "You mean peeping distracted you? We all know why you got your own room, there's shame Tal. Ok there is shame but only a little."
Talinian eyes the little woman, deciding how to respond. Either the was truly not cognizant of the offense of her remark or she was having fun at his expense. If the former, he should correct her error so as to smooth the way for future harmony. If the latter, well, responding would lay the groundwork for that same harmony, and a little humor was a good thing.
Talinian smiled openly, "There is no shame in peeping, if that is the term you wish to use, though I believe scouting is more accurate in this context, when we have accepted employment to do so. However, I was distracted by your comment regarding enslavement. Baltor is free to go whenever he wishes. There are many fey spirits more than willing to serve as familiar. It is a relatively weak spell, not capable of enslaving a spirit, though I may have confused the issue by using the term 'bind'. If so, my apologies. In this case, bind merely meant putting the spirit in a physical form to interact with the material world. I hope that clears up any misunderstanding."
