Pyre nods agreement to Kellen and falls in behind him. She is attempting to be quieter than before and will keep her eyes and ears open for the cairns and anything unusual (besides the deafening silence).
Kellen doesn't notice anything that would suggest there are ruins ahead. There is only the narrowing footpath and the cairn the party left behind them. Kellen sees about 100ft ahead there's a fork in the footpath.
Pyre is still too distracted by the scare at the graveyard to notice anything on the trail but manages to be relatively quiet.

Kellen continues to move up the path to the fork. He carves an arrow in a tree on the path he just came down to mark the route, then looks around for any stones or other indication for which path to take.
Kellen investigation: 12
He'll take the path at the fork indicated by what he sees (if anything). If he doesn't see anything, he'll take whichever fork moves farther away from the barrows with the Will-o'-Wisps.

Jasper follows behind the other three. He's hanging back a little bit but not overly far, maybe 20 feet or so. He's constantly looking around and behind him to watch for ambush. He moves as stealthily as possible.
Malvech moves as quietly as he can next to them. As they walk he will ne keeping his eyes on the road to see if he can find anymore tracks that might show if something other then them had been through the area anytime in the recent past.

At the fork, one footpath moves east while the new path west back towards the barrows. Looking around there's a bramble wall ahead blocking off the forest at the head of the forking footpaths. He then notices the cairn with one large rock, one medium size rock, and one small rock atop it. The stone marker sits to the east side of the fork.
Jasper moves quietly but doesn't notice anything new about the footpath around him.
Mavlech moves silently for his bulky mass but only notices the tracks of Kellen ahead of him. Frustrated the centaur looks around then finally notices another set of tracks. They are that of a smaller person only slightly larger than what he knows would be Jasper's size heading east!
The forest as the party moves deeper in still remains eerily silent.

For the wee folk the movement is unencumbered by the growingly difficult terrain while Kellen and Mavlech now face half-speed having to navigate through the thickening forest. As an hour passes then two the party then finds the path thinning out as another fork presents itself. The same appearance as before a thick bramble wall ahead with a west fork and east fork. A cairn of stones from large to small set on the east path. The sun is sinking lower and lower in the sky as the thick canopy blocks out most of the light filtering through the bows above. There's still an eerie silence. Only a faint whisper on the wind can be heard outside the breathing and footfalls of your companions. As the familiar fork presences itself again before the party... you are confused. Did you circle back? How...did you?
