Uragum shouts as a rock hits him. He turns in time to see one larger atrack Sylra and pulls out some a little ball of tallow, brimstone and iron fillings mashed together and tosses it. It ignites with a roaring flame and he wills it into the back of Sylra's attacker.
Action: casting flaming sphere
Bonus action: raming sphere into back of his attacker assuming that no friendlies would then be within 5ft of it.

Sylyra grits his teeth at the two rocks being flung at him and growls a little as one of them slams into him. As the large undead approaches, the druid grabs his staff — covered in spectral flames — with both hands and spins it at the head of the creature. As he is swinging his weapon, he barks a quick phrase in Sylvan, and a ghostly, glowing hawk appears in the center of the battlefield, its wings flapping methodically, but it is clearly not affected by gravity or the wind.
Bonus: Spirit totem, hawk — The hawk spirit is a consummate hunter, aiding you and your allies with its keen sight. When a creature makes an attack roll against a target in the spirit’s (30-foot radius) aura, you can use your reaction to grant advantage to that attack roll. In addition, you and your allies have advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks while in the aura.
Put the totem where it catches as many targets as possible. Sylyra will use his reaction to aid Arnald with his attacks until further notice. DM, please go ahead and play that out each round that applies, automatically moving the hawk to continue to keep as many targets in the aura as possible. If we encounter attacks that inflict acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder damage, I may need to change that standing order.

Conjuring it in the midst of the barn frame, Uragum pushes toward the flaming sphere, and it blasts into the back of the creature assaulting Sylyra. The momentary pause in its attack, and ensuing shout, provide the elf the opening to crush its skull. It falls limply to the ground as its companion fails to find a gap in Ola's stout defense, even as it strikes quickly for such a rotted being.
The smaller creatures waltz directly into the trap that has been sprung for them, and all around, the series of nets that has been stretched taut spring up from the mud and entangle them. Frustrated shouts ensue (from only four of them, as Arnald kills one with an arrow before the net has even closed), and two of the creatures manage to shake the nets away while the others continue to flounder.
More of the creatures fall within the nets closer to the village. The Folk take advantage of the situation quickly. Lit by another fiery explosion, one of the old crones takes a dagger to her arm, shouting wordlessly beneath the storm as her blood falls to the ground. A circle of runes alight in front of her, and appearing in its center is a repugnant creature, shapeless yet vaguely humanoid, resembling a molten mass of flesh. It slithers quickly across the ground toward its fallen targets.
Round 3 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: Ola is engaged in melee combat with a taller undead. Four smaller undead are 15 feet away from the barn. Two are restrained by nets. Arnald is atop the barn, 15 feet above the ground.

Uragum gives a return nod to Sylyra and looks back at the scene, his vision clearer with the flamjng sphere in front of him. With one hand, he makes some complicated movements and the ball of flame rushes out, he maneuvers it so that it strikes one of the freed creatures but is far enough away not to hit Sylyra with its radiating heat and try to b place it so that those trapped in the net are in it's burn radius.

Ola deftly smacks the undead's scimitar to the side, plunging her sword into its chest. Crimson blood stains her blade, and the creature stumbles back clutching its wound as it falls dead. The smaller creatures that have managed to free themselves from the nets meet the flame of Uragum; the creature that does not fall to the sphere of fire is struck in the head by another arrow from Arnald. Sylyra smashes in the skull of one of the trapped creatures while the last continues to struggle against the net that restrains it - but Sylyra has walked unawares into the midst of four more of the small creatures that pop out from the sides of the barn to launch a volley of stones from their slings before ducking back around the corners.
The fleshy spawn created by the crone reaches its targets in the nets near the village, beginning to bludgeon them to death as they struggle to free themselves from their bonds, screaming in horror.
Round 4 Order: Players <===== Enemies
Placement: One smaller undead is 15 feet away from the barn, restrained by nets. Four smaller undead are around the sides of the barn, two on each side, out of sight. Arnald is atop the barn, 15 feet above the ground.

The target was dead and any other was hiding in the darkness - invisible to Ola's eyes. But the lights of the sphere revealed Sylyras's conditions. Ola stepped closer and touched druid's shoulder.

Sylyra bares his teeth as two of the stones slung at him strike him. He touches one of the places and pulls away bloody fingers. But before he can react, Ola is placing a hand on his shoulder. He tenses for a second, but then relaxes as he feels healing magic flowing to his wounds. He gives the blue-skinned female a quick nod and then rushes toward the closest side of the barn in search of his unseen attackers. His aim: To get around the back of the creatures to keep them from running.
Movement: Hopefully "behind" the undead on one side of the barn to keep them from running away from the rest of the party.
Not being able to see any enemies that aren't in the net, Arnald lights another torch and heads to where he climbed up on the barn. He drops the torch over the edge to see if it's safe to descend. If it's safe, he climbs and heads into the barn. Otherwise he stays where he is until the next turn when he can attack.
OOC: Not sure if this has come up before because it's not often that torches are lit during combat, but it actually takes a couple of combat rounds to do because of the multiple interactions with objects:
Interaction w/ object - draw torch Interaction w/ object - draw tinderbox (2nd interaction with an object in the same turn takes the place of your action) Action - use tinderbox to light torch
However, all that being said, the enemies around the edge of the barn are still within the 40 foot radius light of the torch and are visible to Arnald as he looks down.
Pausing to confirm Arnald's action based on all of this clarification.
The flaming sphere sheds light as well but I'm not 100% clear on positioning so the enemies could be on the opposite side of the barn that the sphere is in which it would make no difference.

Uragum leads a charge with his flaming sphere, pressing it toward the creatures on one side of the barn, while Sylyra (bolstered by Ola's healing) moves past that to surround them. The closer creature shrinks from the flames, dropping its sling and pulling a dagger from a mud-caked belt. It spins around the flames to lunge at the goliath, but its dagger too plops into the mud as the sphere continues to burn and melt its form. The other undead resists the effect of Uragum's frost, but Sylyra completes the rout of this side by bashing in its skull.
Arnald fires into the top of a creature's head on the opposite side of the barn and gets a stone slung against his chest as a reward. Another screech from Sly alerts him in the nick of time to a larger undead creature that has climbed the barn and charged, and the archer barely manages to twist out of the creature's grasp; another moment and he'd have been shoved off the barn's roof. This creature, as covered with mud and bone as the rest, holds a scimitar, with a crossbow slung across its back.
The netted undead is still unable to free itself, tangling further with each thrash. Another gout of fire further away shows the fleshy creation of the crone doing its foul work upon the netted creatures by the village. The Folk seem to be handling themselves well, but a few lay unconscious or dead as they too are ambushed by a few extraneous undead that were lying in wait.
