As John deliberates on walking out of the safety of the group and Zee offers himself, Jeb subtly palms his remaining dagger into his left hand. He keeps his left hand with the drawn dagger held in readiness to be hurled out of sight behind his back.
Zee shakes his head a bit, and his smirk kind of goes sideways as he holds an amulet at his chest and then rubs his head as if he's trying to figure something out. "Loki watch over him and helps us" Zee says Casting sanctuary on Sildar. "Don't attack or cast and you should be ok" Zee says to the man with a shrug. "You know, we have gone WAY out of our way for you. We even KILLED for you. We even made sure not to kill your people here while we did your dirty work. We just want to take Sildar here and go on our way, just as you and your people can go on yours. There was no gold as part of the deal. We thought you were different than what most people say about your kind. Are you going to prove us wrong now? I hope not"

Arikon peeked into the other room, searching for structural weaknesses in the walls of the pool, from which the rivlet running through cave originated. The situation appeared to be escalating quickly and they needed something to gain the upper hand. Gallons over gallons of water flooding the room looked like a promising start. (Perception19)
Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in the twin pools, which are filled by the waterfall. Arikon takes a closer look and makes an interesting discovery. Not only are there structural weaknesses, wooden supports have been placed strategically along the stone wall so that they can easily be knocked away by hammers, releasing a flood! It seems that this a trap the goblins use to wash away intruders who come inside the main entrance. However, if the right supports are broken, the water may instead be released into this room instead...

Arikon suddenly realized the purpose of the pool. 'Those sneaky bastards', he thought to himself. With a little luck this could turn out to be exactly what they needed. "Friends! ", he whispered to his companions. "Look at the pool. If we do it right we could flood the whole room and with a little luck rid ourselves of some goblin in the process. The only problem is how to do it without drowning Sildar?"
The cave goes silent for a moment as both parties stare down each other. Eventually, a realization is made. This is not going to end peacefully. As weapons are drawn and spells are prepared, Yeemik yells “Fire!” as him and the two archers use their readied attacks against Sildar. At that moment, the old warrior begins to glow with a green light, and inexplicably none of the goblins lift a finger to hurt him! This display of magical protection sends one of the goblins running, already intimidated by Jeb. Yeemik snarls, “Why do you have to make this so hard?” Combat erupts as the goblins chant and whoop. The Cragmaw tribe goes to battle!

The stand-off had run its cause and now swords and magic would decide the negotiations. The spell protecting Sildar worked as the group intended and for now the warrior was still alive. "Run Sildar!", the young sorcerer shouted, "If you can, run to us!". At the same time Arikon took aim at Yeemik's ugly face. This creature had led them on long enough and now it was time for it to die. He cast Eldritch Blast at the wrechted goblin, cursing as the bolt of force energy left his hand.
Attack: 8 Damage: 4
There after he would make a few steps backwards behind some of his companions more capable to withhold the enemy's charge.
I see Sharloon's bad luck with the dice continues...ah well. Action to follow when his turn finally arrives...in the meantime...
Sharloon snarls over his left shoulder as all hell begins to break loose in the cavern, "I know! I was about to tell him!"
Then, towards the human captive, he points a clawed hand and then motions towards the group, "Up here, Human! Get up here!"
(not sure its needed but Persuasion 2 )
OOC: I'd say if we can draw Sildar up here we might have a more defensible position. As a last measure we can even bust the dam.
If/when Sharloon's turn is up IF Yeemik is still alive Sharloon throws his dagger at him. Attack: 8 Damage: 6
After yelling to the human (Sildar) Sharloon growls loudly then yells out with all the draconic fury he can muster, "FLEE FOOLS! YOUR MASTER IS DEAD. UNLESS YOU WISH TO JOIN HIM...FLEE!"
Zee See the situation fail and the all 9 hells break loose, along with one of the his enemies. John pulls forward and aims the light crossbow at Yeemik then fires 12 dealing 4 on hit, then retreats back. There was fear in the man, but he was holding his own. Hate for the goblins seeming to win over fear at the moment. Zee nods, then looks to Yeemik (if he's still alive after John's attack) points at the wretched thing and says "Omae wa mo Shindeiru" causing death tolling bells to ring about the goblin {DC13 WIS} (or the goblin next to him if he's dead) dealing 4 Necrotic damage on a failed save if not injured or 9 Necrotic Damage if injured. Zee will move to try and interpose himself between Sildar and the threats.
Jeb seeing that Sildar is safe for now thanks to one of his comrades quick thinking moves non-rushed in total silence no threats, no battle cry, just death personified moving inevitably towards the three Goblin leaders, the lynchpin in keeping the rest of the tribe in the fight. As he does so his rapier bursts into eerie green flames casting an ominous sickly green glow about the cavern reflected by the pools of water. The eerie light highlights Jeb's face his shadowed eyes, high cheekbones, and gaunt face appearing other worldly as he bears down on the newly appointed leader in somber silence.
Once he reaches them Jeb thrusts his rapier at Yemik, as the blow lands the eerie green flames leap from Yemik to strike at one his loyal lieutenants. Striking him about the face like an avenging Angel seeking retribution for the the lieutenant's support of Yemik's betrayal.
Action: Jeb casts Green-Flame Blade and attacks Yemik with his rapier.
Attack: 18Damage: 10
The Green Flames burn the lieutenant for 3 points.

Yeemik receives a flurry of attacks: a pillar of flame from Murmen, an energy blast from Arikon, a crossbow bolt from John...which he manages to dodge. However, Zee’s spell of tolling bells manage to land, followed by a devastating rapier thrust from Jeb which manages to burn the Lieutenant next to him, forcing Yeemik onto the brink of death.
Yeemik yells in pain and Disengages to run far back behind cover and out of sight, shouting orders on the way. He’s still alive, though, to coordinate the goblin counter-attack.
The Lieutenant burned by Jeb also Disengages, but he drags Sildar back and tosses him into the pools of water! The other Lieutenant runs up to Jeb and slashes at him for 7 damage, before disengaging with a bonus action. The remaining goblin archers fire two shots, one at John and one at Murmen. The arrow bounces off Murmen’s shield, but John receives a critical hit! He takes 10 damage and falls to the ground unconscious.
(Sharloon can revise his turn since Yeemik is out of sight. As he ran, advantage on intimidation checks against the goblins. Everyone can go now, including Sharloon).

Emboldened by the fact that the goblins appeared to be on the verge of breaking, Arikon wanted to press the attack and drive them out of the room. They needed to get to Silvar before he drowned. The Sorcerer singled out the goblin that had just attacked Jeb and hurled another Eldritch Blast in his direction. Attack: 24 Damage: 9
He than turned towards the group saying, "Someone needs to get Silvar! I'll provide as much covering fire as possible!"
Jeb sheaths his rapier and leaps into the pool without any hesitation to save the bound Sildar from drowning in the pool. After all the party has risked to save him; Jeb will not allow him to drown now that he is in their grasp.
Jeb assists Sildar to his feet before retreating with him to the back of the pool and staying mostly submerged to benefit from the cover the water provides. Knowing his shortbow is to wet to fire, Jeb readies to throw his last dagger. He quickly scans the amassed goblins for signs of the fleeing Yemik.

Zee looks in horror as John goes down, Yeemik runs and Silar is thrown in the pool of water. He has to make a hard decision and decides to trust in his allies. He leaves both potions by John and dashes by him takes a torch, backtracking with intent to traverse down the hole they came in and head off the fleeing Yeemik.
Pre-edit
Zee runs to John picking him up, takes out one of the healing potions he got earlier, pulls the cork with his teeth, and feeds it to his downed friend healing 7. "You'll be fine John. Tis but a flesh wound" he says a bit jokingly . Zee then get up and faces away, fury burning in his eyes and looks at the back of the room where they came from, thinking to head off the goblin leader before it escapes fully. "I'll be back. Keep this to use on one of them if they go down, stay here and do what you can Redcorn. This is not our last day." he says as he leaves the other health potion and makes his way to his target destination, the hole they come in through. (Editing)
