OOC: how late in the day is it now? A short rest (at least) would be in order. If it is getting late we could take a long rest and set out in the morning. I am with whatever the group wants to do.

Son gladly accepts the dagger and holds it in his hand to get a feel for it. Does it seem right? He gives a few practice swings with it, away from the others.
With an attack roll of 143, Son kills all the gods, game's over. ;P
It's a dagger. It's pretty straight forward how to use it, you think that if you got in a tussle, you could probably manage to use it without harming yourself.

Hey, Talon's getting pretty good! The old guy doesn't even come out to poke you or run you off, since the salt is obviously keeping you out, and as far as ghosts go, you don't seem too bad.
((Talon, give me a Perception check.))
Son's clothes have some tears and holes in them... one in the side presumably where the two foot chunk of wood speared him.
Big'Un hearing the lute will go and see if it's Talon playing and if so will tell him about 'son' and the plans to find a water source the old man told us about. And also that we are taking the time for a sort rest before we go looking so he should also (if he needs it)

This would have been before his recital, I think.
"I'm not going in that crazy house under the ground. Do you not see all that rock on top of it? Bacaw! I found some water, too, but not yet its source. We can search when you're rested."
Smiling at hearing Talon's music, he'll bring a shell of fresh water out to him.
"Here you are....rest up some if you can. It appears there's a "pool of remembering stuff" we're going to head out to shortly."
"Pool of what? Allow me to doubt that coming from the lunatic who thinks we're ghosts. Let's just hope it's a Pool of Fresh Water, at least. Thanks for the sip."

((It's around noon, you can consider this a short rest and roll HD if you have any left (started with 3, as you're third level).))

Once done with his soup Son goes and gets dressed.
"So that was a no on getting me anything?"
He looks to Father,
"Do you have any thing I could borrow for armor or weapons?"
Big'Un will roll two hit dice. That will leave him with 1 as I don't think he rolled any previously.
Hit die (if a D6) 10
edit: does rolling a crit on hit die tell Big'Un anything? .......LOL
Blue will roll a hit dice: 19
Wrong die lol: 3

He will also give son one of his daggers.
