Talon leaps to the air as the bridge sways dangerously, beating his wings to circle and remain aloft as Mark has had enough of watching the kids try and knots it good and heads across. Everyone makes it through the ravine, and resumes climbing upwards. A cave mouth looms ahead, seemingly where your travels are taking you.

The cave entrance shows no signs of being inhabited, it's a rough, natural tunnel heading deeper into the mountain. For once you might not be about to be attacked.

Son hears a soft drip..... drip.....drip. The way ahead appears to be softly illuminated, the tunnel sloping up and out of view.
He turns to head back to inform the others, and freezes. A clear print of some sort of large, clawed creature! Is this the home of some monstrosity? Did 'Father' send them here to appease the hunger of some mountain spirit?
He glances wildly about, begins backing up towards the others... and spots the creature that left the tracks... himself. His feet left the marks he got worked up about.
Sheepishly, he returns to the others. Best not to mention it at all.

"Looks like the tunnel goes up, something is lighting so we won't be blind."
He coughs,
"And, uh, I didn't see any tracks of anything living in here."
Looking at Blue sitting down he asks,
"We taking a break? How much daylight we have left?"
If they decide to wait Son will us the time to ask,
"Has anyone thought about magic that can make a whole group of people forget? It seems attached to the island. And why water would prevent the effect?"

Talon retrieves the hanging rope and tries to make a better knot.

He tries to cross "on foot" to test the bridge, knowing he can just fly if the knot unravels.
Son, having learned his lesson, is ready to grab the rope should the knot give out again. He does think Talon's knot looks good though!
Even under his slighter weight, the bridge gives out again under Talon!
