"We are in a bit of a hurry for several reasons, but if you truly think this is wise, I will come with you and open any locked doors, disarm any traps I can. I wonder if there are any crocodiles in there to ride, like the legend."Poole says.

So the plan is to ... what? Assassinate goblins one by one? Or do a shouting and screaming surprise attack? Or try to get past them? Melanthios saw 4 of them on this (north) side of the camp.
Also - are you putting on armor first or not? It is assumed that in the jungle the regular travel and sleeping and all that happens with armor off.
In any case it seems that stealth checks are in order (I will roll for anyone who doesn't do it themselves). Qawasha with the vegepygmie will stay back and guard your canoes and camping gear. Undril and Irma will come with, they will follow your lead on the armor part and attack plan.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: I dunno, seems a bit weird to just walk past hostile goblins to the door, hoping things go well. Poole wasn't suggesting fighting or sneaking or diplomacy. If the goblins already know we're there, then no sneaking -- so either fighting or diplomacy...

The party wins the initiative, should it come to that at all.
Everyone dons their armor and the ones in heavy armor are hanging back, letting the more stealthy folks get into position.
Melanthios points out the four goblins she (right?) noticed on the first scouting trip and everyone gets into position. Melanthios, Poole, Lorahana and Aurok all take aim at their respective targets and upon a countdown let loose all at once! (your call if it's a ranged or melee attack)
This is a surprise round, so you have two rounds worth of attacks to try and kill or disable your respective targets! If the attacks are quiet (as in not a fireball or thunderblast) and the goblins go down in a single round then they won't even make a sound.
Irma, Anzir and Undril are hanging back 70-80 feet or so, waiting for either the sound of battle to rush in or someone signaling that the goblins have been taken care of.
Anzirwalks a hundred feet behind, finishing with the last buckles and straps on his armor. As the rest of the party lets their attacks loose, he unslings his shield and waits patiently to run to the front.

Poole puts an arrow straight through the skull of a goblin, sticking it to the mask in a way that there is a barely a quiver of the mask.
Melanthios's arrow pierces the heart of another goblin.
Aurok's dagger sails past yet another goblin, but disappears into the foliage behind without making a sound.
Lorahana... does her stuff and the dry patch of moss catches fire violently, burning the goblin in process to a crisp. The mask he was hiding behind is also now fully aflame.
The goblin that Aurok tried to hit with the thrown dagger starts to look around and the last thing that goes through his mind is another arrow that Poole let loose after a quick target switch. (not wasting that double 20!)
Assuming nobody wants a forest fire (please let me know if you do want it) then you'll be able to put out the burning mask before the surrounding jungle starts to catch.
The north side of the camp seems clear of goblins and you'll be able to see a few rows of decaying tents. Past it is a broken pavilion and a set of stairs leading to the inside of the statue.
You are pretty certain though that this wasn't all of the goblins.
Lorahana takes in what Anzir just said, “is it truly as dangerous as they say? Maybe there are clues about the death curse or the artifact in there.”

Melanthios frowns.
"Um . . .artifacts are all well and good, but count me out of the riding crocodiles part please."

“That sounds like a majority. Let’s get to it then.”
Aurok gets on hand and knees to get ready to crawl after whoever leads the way.

Anzir hops to his feet, gearing up impressively fast. "Lead the way," he says, hefting his war pick over his shoulder with an audible thud.
"Where were the goblin masks you saw? Should we perhaps address them before we go in?" Poole says, ready to sneak ahead.
Stealth: 23

If stealth is the decision: 13
The goblins seemed unaware of you being there.
Melanthios would be for ambushing the goblins. Better to not leave them behind and have to watch our backs.

Aurok readies a throwing knife (dart) to deal with a goblin, if that’s the plan

"Goblins," he mutters with a measure of distaste.
Poole readies an arrow and fires it at her target when the others attack.
Attack: 8 Damage: 5 (rolled without advantage, but if there is advantage, then second roll is 9 and sneak attack damage is 1
That was... unlikely. I fear I'll never roll another 20 again. That poor, poor goblin.
(Melanthios is a he.)
Melanthios readies an arrow, muttering under his breath.
Attack: 8 Damage: 18
