It is a short jaunt from the Bell Market to the meeting place of the town’s Council of Elders.
You find the elven mage Rhuidhen in vestibule of the Hall of the Elders, speaking earnestly in low voices with a stunningly beautiful lady, who looks to be of half-elven decent. She is matronly and poised; her plain traveling clothes do not do justice to her regal bearing. Her dark hair is done in plaits with subtle silver ornamentations, complimenting her milky skin.
Rhuidhen doesn’t seem to see you right away, so rapt in the quiet conversation as he is. He and the lady are the only two in the vestibule.
Ink observes the half-elven woman and wonders if she has seen her before, perhaps in Silverymoon, or if any of the silver ornamentation are of symbols he may recognize.
The lady turns to meet your gaze, and you find yourself staring into her deep, blue eyes. You’d heard the line I could get lost in your eyes before, but with these eyes, it actually makes sense.
You don’t notice much else besides the faintest silvery sheen on her eyelids, contrasted by her dark lashes.
She smiles as she beholds all of you. “I feel as if I stand in the presence of heroes of note,” she says in a pleasantly melodic voice.
Crownsguard will do a gentlemanly bow to the woman, who seems to be a noble of some sort in his eyes, “Greetings. I am Crownsguard. You do us great honor in such high praise.” He gently takes her hand and brings it up to his stone face, seemingly mimicking a hand-kissing motion.

Regaining some composure, Ink coughs out, "We were indeed in Triboar when the fire giants attacked and aided in their rebuttal, but we would hardly call ourselves heroes. We were simply doing what was right."
Ink gives a slight, almost embarrassed, bow to the lady, as he speaks.
"Ah see lord Rhiuden has started th' introductions. Flint, o' Citadel Adbar at yer service. Aye indeed, we fought th' Giants at Triboar, an more since. Has he told ye then o' our plight? Might ye be able ta stear our course? An may ah have th' pleasure o' yer name?"
The lady smiles, never breaking her poise. "You may call me Mithyri. And on the contrary to you both—your deeds at Triboar are known to more than you think, and it is only by happenstance that my visit here coincides with your own. The High Sorcerer told me of your presence in Everlund only after I mentioned the stories of your heroics on the other end of the Evermoor Way. He was just saying that you thwarted the fire giants, and that they were looking to collect artifacts made of adamantine. Is this true?"
Still somewhat enthralled, Ink responds to her, "With Flint's experience of the forge, we have come to the conclusion that the fire giants are gathering pieces of what might be a massive construct - much bigger than Crownsguard here - and yes, it would be made of adamantine. If you don't mind us asking, how did you come to hear of our exploits?"
"so if you had a hidden camp in a mountain or cave, where would that be?" Rip glances up and seems unfazed by her beauty (only girl for him has his ring on her finger) "oh, I'm sorry for my rudeness but i'm looking for my family and was scouring this map trying to figure out where they might be.... hmmm where are we now? Marav this isn't the market. Wait when did you guys get here? Is that Volo's Guide to Monsters!? where did you get that? was there a bookstore I missed? bother i'm rambling like a rabid dog! my apologies"
“An excitable fellow, I see,” notes the elegant Mithyri, not unkindly. “Well, as to your question, Master Halfling, there are many caves in the mountains to the north. If I had to hide in one, I would either choose one that was very high up, so as to to remain inaccessible, or very deep underground, so as to remain warm without much effort.”
She answers Ink next, “As we were saying... Yes, I noticed the nature of your construct. I assume he is a recent addition to your group? And obviously a powerful one! How curious.” She regards Crownsguard.
“In answer to your question, I maintain a reliable network of informative sources,” she continues, rather demurely, while addressing Ink. “This allows me to make sound business choices. The giant upheaval has made trade difficult, but for the one who cares enough to look, opportunities present themselves.”

Marav notices that she is wearing a gown of some sort under her traveling clothes. As he looks, she turns towards Marav and locks her blue eyes with his.
“And you are Marav? A quiet one. Tell me, what was it like, killing those giants?”
The elf mage, Vaeril Rhuidhen, cuts in with his calm, steady voice. “Oh, I quite forgot. Crownsguard, is it? I have many questions for you after hearing of your origins and nature. If you are available and willing for the next hour, I would very much like to examine you in my study. After that, I must hasten to the meeting of the Elders.”
"Can't say if ye'll have time fer readin' Ink, ah was not made ta wait when ah saw'im. Let's get on with it then." Flint leads the group to Rhiuden.

"Lad, ye ought'na stand so close ta th' Elven High Lady when yer wearin' a thousand miles o' road." Flint says with a laugh.
The blue-eyed woman seems to take Crownsguard’s appearance, and actions, in stride.
“You are the heroes of Triboar, are you not?” She asks you, in response to Flint’s apparent confusion.
