The bright gibbous moon casts a soft sheen into the cold night, aided by the several low-burning campfires surrounding the grassy knoll of the Moonwyvern Inn.

There on a boulder, a stone’s throw from the front door, towards the main road, sits an armored frost giant. His axe rests in his hand, and his blueish, bearded visage is uplift by a (now deserted) campfire. He looks around casually, even as the humans, elves, and other panicked campers flee towards the Inn, buffeting you as they rush past you into the building.

Flint steps forward. "Ah'm Flint, o' Citadel Adbar, by Moradin's grace. We  been looking for one o' yer  kind. Be ye  Harshnag?"

Crownsguard follows up behind Flint, “How did you get here before me? I left first- Upon second thought, that is an issue for later. Do you know this giant, Flint?”

"we know of him, he seems to be against the fire giants at least." Rip whispers to crownsguard "anyway he doesn't seem to be here for a fight or there would be squashed people about.... there aren't squashed people about are there? i can't see well in the dark"

Marav looks up and just walks up and starts tending the fire. Making sure it keeps going. He looks at Harshnag and just nods.

 Ink recognizing the frost giant through Quill's eyes from the detailed description given by Rip immediately breaks his contact with Quill and dashes out. He sees his friends already approached but remain cautious. 

Ink jogs past his friend and stands within the striking distance of the frost giant and proclaims, "Harshnag of the Force Grey. The Ordning, set by your All-Father, has been broken."

Marav glances up at him. "Harshnag I presume. Otherwise you would be attacking instead of sitting there."

 “I do not know. I also cannot see in the dark...” Crownsguard is whispering in the opposite direction of Rip, clearly not seeing him.

“Harshnag Eve Grim, aye,” rumbles the giant. “And I expect you are the giant-killing adventurers I’m supposed to meet?”

Crownsguard waves, “I am Crownsguard. I have not killed a single giant since arriving. I did obtain a cat, however. Therefore, I would argue that my time here has been a ‘win.’”

Harshnag looks down from his dragon-skull helm at the armored construct. “I see. And where did you arrive from...Crownsguard?”

Crownsguard replies, “I was found in the ruins of Netheril, yet I began traveling out of Waterdeep. I have been, as the organics put it, ‘around.’”

"I wouldn't call us 'giant killing' per se... We became acquainted with a cloud giant, uneasily parlayed with some stone giants, and yes, slew some fire giants - but they were the aggressors," Ink offers for clarity. 

"I suppose we are your contact regarding the giant activity - that's how most of us got in together. We also have another pressing and personal matter that we've been advised you could guide us in," Ink states. After a beat, he finishes, "Rip?" 

“Nothing wrong with killing giantfolk...the evil ones, at least. They’re out of control,” says Harshnag gruffly, in response to Ink’s clarification. His plate armor gleams as he stands and hefts his wicked-looking greataxe. “Much as I‘d like hearing your story, we should move somewhere more peaceful. I don’t like causing such uproar,” he says, nodding to the many backlit faces crowding the windows in the Moonwyvern Inn. “Follow me and we’ll get down to business.” 

Harshnag will lead you to a copse of trees far off the main road if you’re willing, before continuing your discussion.

Marav will follow. He signals Steele to follow. "Birds are our allies." Not wanting the birds to startle the giant.

Steele sleepily follows in the dark of night, taking a short flight before attempting to alight on Marav’s shoulder.

Ink follows, scrutinizing the frost giant as he goes - not necessarily searching for something specific, but simply trying to take in the whole of the giant. 

Crownsguard will be at the front if the pack, ready to defend in case of betrayal.
