Davril nods when Lorgar mentions the idea of light from magic rather than torches, "If we need light, that's probably our better bet. With animals out here, they may smell the smoke before they see the light and come to investigate."

Quiller finds an extremely rusted dagger sticking out of the pile on the right. The piles of wood consists of planks of milled wood, probably from some type of furniture like tables, desks or book shelves. As Quin and Davril begin to probe the other pile, a couple mice run from the pile they are looking at over to the other pile. As people begin to rummage through both piles, a number of mice began running about the room frantically, eventually heading toward the ever growing pile of discarded lumber. Ultimately, as both piles are moved to reveal the floor underneath, the party finds a small collection of coins along with a number of pieces of metal that are so rusted that it is not possible to tell what these metal items originally were.
Going through both piles reveals 5 gold pieces 25 silver pieces and 35 copper pieces.
Nothing that is revealed is of interest to Vothrolo, and there are no trap doors hidden under the wood.
"Call it a hunch. Let us check the floor and walls for anything out of the ordinary, any stones that don't sem to fit.or that could be removed or any levers. When we are done we should head into the next room."
Davril will carefully gather up the coins and set them in a separate pouch, "Might be easier to divide our loot once we have it all rather than stand around worrying about it now." And then he'll move to the next room and peer inside.

Quin extends his hand holding the rock into the next room. If nothing reveals itself he'll step inside and begin a repeat of the last search. Starting with the left side of the room.

“So, Logar, what evidence do you see t’ be thinkin’ wes bein’ stalked?” Quiller asks as he rummages around the pile of wood he killed.
