Kanlos feels divine intervention as he moves forward, clearly knowing he would have mistaken some part of the work in moving forward if it was not for Io's assistance. You move on up the path another 1/3 of the way, without any difficulty found. Please give me one more survival check...
Traveling onward Kanlos is easily able to navigate the last section of the path, he is bolstered by divine guidance, which gives him the confidence to easily evade the dangers of the area.
Arriving at the cave... Most of this cave has collapsed and been repurposed as a temple to Erebos. Tapestries depicting his heraldry hang from the walls of the tunnel. Corpses of mortals and the Returned who lived in Armonía are scattered throughout the tunnels of the cave.
Standing at the entrance you smell the tang of undeath in the air, which tells you that you are in the right spot. The tunnel runs for some distance, though it twists further inside, so you cannot see further than that. Tapestries and a few bodies lay in the section you can see, though those bodies do not seem to be animated and are just bodies.
Io shakes his head and comments, "It seems we may be dealing with a cult of Erebos; they more fanatical and extreme sect of his followers who glorify death and dispense it on others. At least that is the notion I am getting from all we see around us in this cave."
Kanlos frowns as he looks around, "A temple to Erebos on an island of Returned, seems odd. But you're right, seems like it could be a cult of extremists and we should be on guard."
Windlass's owl guides you through the tunnels, with Io leading the party after it. The owl helps you evade several of the roving bands of undead. Eventually though you come to a single passage, which seems to lead on towards something important. Guarding that passage are 2 wights and 6 zombies...
As Io does have light cast to illuminate the path ahead, the undead have already spotted you, and have moved to block the passage forward. Please roll initiative.
(The undead are as far ahead of you as you wish. The owl would have spotted them, prior to you getting any closer than you would have wished. They would have still spotted the light coming closer, so would be alerted to someone in the tunnels. They may not have spotted you directly yet though, depending on how close you wish to get before making your attack.)
(Now I do need to know if you stop 100 feet away, 50 feet away, or move right up to them... How far are you away? Do you stop before a turn in the tunnel, so you are out of sight of the undead?)

Kanlos turns to Io after traveling for some time, "I appreciate the guidance you gave before, might I ask for it again as we continue on?"
Survival: 26 + 1
Io casts Guidance "Of course. Athreos guides all his followers."

What is the marching order as you head into the tunnels?
Kanlos does not have darkvision, and would prefer not to be in melee, so he'd want to be either in the back or towards the back.
Xerronios will not take the lead but will ready himself to cast Heroism at the first sign of trouble.
Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
Io will be at the front. He will cast Light on his sword so he can see better.
Windlass sends her owl familiar down the tunnel, seeing and hearing through his senses.

Kanlos would follow the lead of those in the front.
