"Well, the siblings are not here. I say we continue." Looking at the elf, "We don't know your name. I am Gavin Arcanegrin. You mentioned that you were with a party. Were Talgen Hucrele and Sharwyn Hucrele a part of it? We are looking for them. If not, I would still be interested in where your party was before you were separated and where they might have gone. You may come with us if you wish."
The monk relaxes slightly, sheathing his dagger and lowering his sword, "I don't know my former companions' names; I was only brought on as extra muscle. When they saw a room of danger, I stepped forward and they stepped back...then shut the door. Last I heard was something about relieving my 'burden' to fight better." Strangely, the elf seems unphased by the statement. In fact, he seems unphased by the entire situation.
"I am called Stone of the Eight. I am assuming my previous contract is void, so I will continue with you provided you don't try to kill me."

OOC: The secret door wasn't shown on the map, right?
"We might as well move on. Does anyone object if we take that door?" Gavin points to the door he is talking about. (Top left on map) "Before I open it, I am going to check to see if the door is trapped. We have encountered plenty today. I think that if there are any traps, I should be the one to disarm them or fail trying. Stand back for a moment."
With a new tentative member gained, the party moves on. Gavin, the door does not appear to be trapped or locked. In fact, it's surprisingly easy to open. Before you now stretches a decent 10ft wide hallway with three doors. The doors at the end of the corridor and the door to the right both look like your run of the mill doors you'd find in a ruined citadel. The door to the left appears to be made of stone.

Wynn catches his breath, kneels, and says a short prayer to his diety.
"It matters not which path we take, all rivers eventually lead back to the sea. However, I will recommend we procceed with caution either way lest we get caught up in the storm."
(I'm good with left. Not sure if a 12 is enough to find a trap, but we'll see.)

The group ventures down the path. Gavin, you find no evidence of the way being trapped, so your movement goes unhindered. You also don't find any tracks. This area looks to have been spared from the dirt and debris that litters the outer areas, making tracks difficult (if not impossible) to find. The attention of the party descends upon the stone door. The door bears a relief that portrays a dragon-like fish swimming, and after a cursory inspection by Stone, appears to be locked. No traps, if any exist, have been triggered by Stone's examination.
Wynn, searching the stores of your memory you recall that there is lore regarding several draconic-type creatures that can be found at sea. The two most prevalent being the Dragon Turtle and the Legendary, if not entirely mythical, Leviathan. No religion comes to mind that might worship such a creature, but there have been records of cults in the world dedicated to it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Wynn speaks to the party "Well, I know not of any religions involving such creatures, however some cults do come to mind. Mostly involving the Leviathan and a creature known as a dragon turtle. My thoughts lead me to lean more towards being very careful as having to deal with crazed fanatics can prove quite dangerous. I would advise you all to keep your wits about you moving forward into this place."
Wynn the grasps his holy symbol saying a prayer to his god.
Wynn casts guidance, then proceeds to look over the stone wall.

After finding no immediate path forward, Stone abandons the door and moves to the next, "Earth blocks the way. Take a sign from the relief and be as Water, flexible, unhindered." The elf begins to inspect and prod the next door as he did the first

Wynn, you are unable to discern anything further about the stone. It seems old, much like the rest of this place.
Stone, the door before you is much like you'd expect in a keep or fortress such as this. It is solid wood and banded with iron. A solid iron ring serves as the door knob. Leaning in to exam the door, you hear something coming from the other side. It is very feint, but it's there. You believe you hear the sound of something whining. Whimpering maybe? It's just hard to tell on this side.
Stone will give a nod to the others to follow. Standing by, he will draw his dagger and clench his sword under his off-arm, pulling a small weighted spike from a pocket of his belt.
(Ready Action to throw the dart at the first hostile target once the door is opened. Sword close at hand for immediate draw)

Hey! I'll post about what happens next shortly. Stay tuned!
Oh and no, Gavin. It wasn't on the map.

Gavin will check for traps in the hallway. You can never be too careful. He also wonders where the previous group went.
Perception: 14 For traps
Survival: 12 For tracks
OOC: Someone else can pick the next door.
Barnos Draws His bow places arrow to it and will bring up the rear.
