(A “1” is not an automatic failure on a check, unless you are using a home rule? I was just pointing out that I had a 22, before the armor made it a 5.)

I was more pointing out that it could be worse. and no I am not useing nor am I sure where I fall on the nat 1 vs nat 20 with OneD&D
We have passed the min for the check, and it has been 24 hours, so I am going to push us forward. You work your way through the room, which door do we go through?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven will again go to each door and listen and check the doors to see if they are locked/trapped and see if he can see if he can hear anything behind them. "We are goingt o kill this creature, right" sighing, "that is when we find him?"
Kraven will wait a few moments to see if anyone has a magical way of opening the door from range, otherwise he will then step to the opening side and open the door so when it is open he is standing behind the door.
On the other side of the door is a skair case, going up. On a quick inspection you see 2 things, first the stairs are covered in spikes you can tell that you would be able to manage to avoid the spikes while walking up the stairs, but should you fall it night hurt a little. The second thing you see is a key hole in the bottom step.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kraven will once more look to the heavens and raise his feathered hands and shake his head in annoyance. Then he will hop over to the keyhole and inspect it and try and determine if it is trapped and what the lock leads to.
[OOC: sorry been busy this past week and jury duty the past couple of days has not helped.]
After looking at the keyhole for a bit trying to work things out, Kraven suddenly squawks and stands up. "Mist as Kuatho stated, where is that key you found? Can I have it real quick to see if it will fit in this hole."
Its been a minute so I would assume that Mist would pull out the key, it does fit the stairs and when turned you see the spikes drop down. Walking into the next room
This grand hall features tattered rugs and moldy tapestries hanging from the walls. Their torn threads form faded pictures of violent battles, where castles burn behind piles of dead soldiers scattered on fields of blood.
Assuming that Kraven and Kuatho scouts ahead a little
In the top out crop you see a pile of rags, and laying on the rags you see undead wolf chewing on a bone, in the south west corner of the room you see 2 skeletons who are chained to the wall, both moving, both with bones missing and both with visable teeth and claw marks on them. The 2 skeletons seem to be somewhat inteligent still and are trying to signle for you to leave the way you came in.
Jecob: "The hound runs free, while the humanoids are leashed. The skeleton world is peculiar."

Motioning to Kuatho to back out of the room Kraven will follow him out so as to not wake the undead wolf.
Once outside, Kraven lets the rest know what they saw. Whispering, "Large undead wolf gnawing on bone and two skeletons chained to wall warning us of wolf. They missing bones, I think wolf munching on them. Rush room and take out wolf?"
