(What did we discover with the history rolls?)
Examining the body Aubric speaks to Druquilla in Elvish "I have not encountered one of her kind in many years. She is a Far Elf, from the Astral Sea!" Then back to common "This woman is not from this plane of existence. What could she be doing working with people such as this?"
I am working on the first post for our trip through the Island. I am going to have a busy weekend, so I will post it on Monday when I get to work, so please finish the rolls for the RIs. Also I need to know the following things:
Are we taking a short rest?
Who is first in the marching order, and who is last.
"I haven't come across a Far Elf before in my travels, too bad this one made an enemy of herself," Druquilla shrugs. "As to why she joined up with the Black Rift, why does anyone join under their banner, power, gold, treasure?"

Zan despite the bad choice of a song you do very well performing it for the party.
Gintarou the compass is pointing at the center of the Island, at a giant volcano, smoke billows from the top of it.
You spend about 20 minutes walking the beach looking for a better spot to enter the forest than the area that the Blackrift were at to make sure that there are not more of them. You find a good place to enter the forest at, right next to the tree line are 2 long lost rowboats. As you start to walk to the tree line Kraven and Gintarou I need you two step into an area and start to sink, you sink 2 feet and are currently restrained.
Mist as you start to head to the rowboats make a survivale or nature check for me. Aubric do the same seeing as you are also heading to the treeline. This is to make sure you can look to avoid the sand. DC 14, on a fail you sink 4 feet

Druquilla seeing her companions start to sink into the sand draws her bow from her shoulder followed by digging her rope from her pack and makes her way to the treeline.
While trying to fly out of the sinking sand Kraven will reach into this backpack and pull out his rope and toss one end to anyone else trying to help them out of the sinking sand, saying out lout to no one in particular, "And this is why we fly you idiot."

Thom Everyman- Midgard One Shots
DMing- The Voyage of the Fallen Star
(A short rest couldn't hurt. Zan would be in the middle, close to Gintarou to cast a heal if needed.)
Kraven would be up front staying on the ground, looking for traps ans tracks on the ground.
Short rest works Aubric would be towards the rear when we move.
Wisdom check: 7 (+3 if it's a save rather than a check)

(I'm fine with a rest although Mist doesn't need it. If Zan sings everybody a song, anyone rolling hit dice will get an extra 1d6hp back.)
Characters currently being ruined on this forum:
Neria Tallfellow (Halfling Rogue) - Curse of the Crimson Throne with Ashen_Age
(Gintarou needs short rest to recover his HP. He will stay behind Kraven and tell everyone where the compass is indicating)
Spent one Hit Dice: 6 + CON modifier 3 =9
(Also can Gintarou pick some Throwingaxe before he departs?)
(Gintarou, don't forget that extra 1d6 hp from the bard's Song of Rest!)

(…Oh Yes! Gintarou already fully recovered thanks to Zan's healing word! But I will definitely use the Song of Rest. It's too good to be missed)

Realizing he left home without a sturdy rope, just as he had vowed to never do again, Mist grabs an oar from one of the rowboats and rushes over.
"Grab on! Try not to struggle more than is needed. Slow, steady movements."

"Oh crap!" Gintarou was almost buried to his thighs. He stuffs the compass into his pocket and shouts. "Help Kraven-dono and give me a rope!"
Looking thru his bag "How do I not have a rope!" Aubric would like to try to find a sturdy branch or thick vine to try and reach them with.
