Gintarou takes one stone in his hand. He holds it over the sun, rolls in his palm and sniffs. Finally he hands them to Aubric."They are surely magical. However I have no idea how magical they are…" The warrior says to the dwarf wizard.
"By the way, I have no objection over lunch break. Crab meats go bad real fast. But how about you guys? You wanna take a break now?"

As the last of the crabs die Kraven gives one last look around to see if there are any other threats in the area, then will land next to Gintarou, "Are seems safe for now, rest should go uninterrupted."
Once you find a good spot to enter the forest to go deeper into the Island you all do so, it is clear from the referances that the compass is not pointing at the Blackrift camp. You continue to make your way following the compass. Along the path that you are able to somewhat follow you come across a sprung pit trap. In the hole there are bamboo spikes jetting up, 3 botties total are on the spikes, a month or so old. One is a Dwarf wearing armor, and the bamboo is right at the breaks in the armor, another figure is harder to make out what race because they are covered in black clothing to include a mask. Lastly is a Half-Orc.
"These stones have some amazing properties. If applied properly they can give you resistance, or even immunity to fire!" Aubric seems very excited at such a magical find.

"What a heartwarming welcome it is. I assume there are traps awaiting us on our way" Gintarou peeks into the 10-15 feet deep trap hole. Suddenly he tilts his head as if hears someone's voice and says."Oh the Half orc guy's name is Savage Sher’rok. A treasure hunter friend of the ghost in my head. Magnus-dono said his bag might have some interesting information." Gintarou points out the dead Half Orc in hole. He uses his glaive to poke the hole and the body, to see if there are other traps or dangers.
Most things seem past useable. You do find on the Half-orc a bag that seems like the dead body protected from the elements. Make a slight of hand check to see how much you disterbe the body and the bag
"Would you be so kind as to ask your traveling companion as to why a treasure hunter would be on this island,"Druquilla remarks before leaning over the pit to watch Kraven work. "Find anything useful?"
Most of what was found in the bag is ruined from rain getting into the bag, however there are two things that were on the “top” of the pile of stuff that can still be made out. One is a journal the other is a map with a hand written note on it. Due to how I put the note on the map, and the fact that I felt like the map could be blown up a little bit the note is only on the first slide, the second slide is the other part of the map and the 3rd slide is the map shrunk down to fit on one slide.
‘Zarod’s contact was good, the elf gave me a lot of new information about Scarlet Kate that I never knew before. But most importantly, being the last person to see her before her disappearance, he gave some direction on which was he saw her leaving the Giants Spire, that note was take on the map…..”
It then continues to talk about some of Scarlet Kate’s personality, and the fact that while she was a vile and aggressive woman in battle she was overly kind to her crew, and treated them well.
Mist reads the notes and rolls his eyes and looks to Kraven.
"Don't suppose there's any chance we can keep this from Bigm'n's eyes? Ah well. Guess that bleedin' ghost is gonna get his jollies one way or another."
He looks up to the sky to judge the time of day and says asks the others, "Do you think this 'morning star' is an actual star or some sort of object we'd need to find? I'm not too keen on staying here through the night if we don't have to."
"The ghost said he doesn't know." Gintarou shrugs.
>>Mist
"Sorry. I've already read that note. …It seems the infamous she-pirats is actually a good captain. Magnus-dono, she treated your grandfather well, I guess. Are you feeling better now?" Gintarou stands up and walks again. "We can only know how the star looks like by keep going. Let's go! I'm agreeing with Mist-dono. Spending a night in this island isn't a appearing idea"

"I would not mind a break for a meal," Druquilla remarks shouldering her bow before going and collecting any of the crab corpses she can.

Aubric takes the stones and while the others are preparing a meal he will ritual cast Identify
Mist spends the short rest munching on any crab that's offered to him but mostly engrossed in figuring out his silly new stick.

After resting Kraven will once more take to the skies to look around and see if anything interesting is close to the camp.

Kraven sees nothing new.

Zan peers into the pit. "Anyone have a rope? It may be worth carefully--emphasis on carefully--climbing down for a look."
Kraven very carefully flies down into the hole above the spikes and retrieves what he can form the bodies.

"Good point." Gintarou nods to Druquilla and asks the ghost. "Magnus-dono,do you have any idea why Savage Sher’rok came to this island?"
