"Something is coming!" Varn panics for a moment, before thinking it through. "Let's kill it and get more coins to grow even stronger then!"
Then, inspired by his own words, he runs and taps Skarro on the shoulder before running back farther into the room. "Grow so strong they can't pass through the door!"
(Casting Enlarge/Reduce on Skarro, to enlarge of course. This makes Skarro Medium sized, but also gives him advantage on Strength checks and saves, as well as +1d4 damage per weapon attack.)
Tiamat takes a step back. She wonders if it was a good idea for Skarro to get large and block the door. She can't exactly reach whatever is coming this way either. Maybe she should have been more active and volunteered to take point instead. She casts Shield of Faith on Skarro to help him hold the line.
The footsteps get louder and the cloaked giant that was writing away arrives. He is holding a massive, scary looking axe. The party see wisps of spirits flying around the cloaked giant. They hear screams coming from around the Giant. Although the source is clear it almost sounds like the screams are from somewhere far away. The psycho swings his massive Axe at Skarro without words or hesitation. Skarro is able to react in time and push the axe into the wall with his sword.
Party's turn.
All within 15ft of the Giant, (that's Skarro and anyone standing close to him. The room will let you stay out of the 15ft range but only if you position yourself near the window on top of the bed) takes 9 Psychic Damage. DC15 WIS for half.
Blind to Tiamat's desire to be in the front line, Skarro bristles with new strength, eagre to show off his abilities. He strikes unexpectedly fast the moment the creature comes within range but the blow goes wide, then he nimbly dodges the creature's attack before focusing his ire upon it and launching a series of attacks of his own with his new staff.
Skarro manages to bash the cloaked creature on the side with his new acidic staff. He tries his best to keep the ghosts away but they still manage to fly around him and do some damage. The ghosts are very very draining. The longer this fight drags on, the worse the situation is going to get.
Enemy condition: Moderately wounded.
Party's turn.
If you are not standing on the bed, roll WIS save DC15 for taking half of 9 Psychic damage.
Those draining ghosts are a problem, even if Skarro can block the large one. While he didn't know if they'll stick around after the big guy is gone, Varn decided to find out quickly.
Varn blows a flamimg liquid-looking ball into his hand. "Be careful!" He calls to Skarro before lobbing the orb, which then splits into three scorching rays that pass around Skarro to hit the giant.
Ray #1: 20 to hit, 7+4 (elemental affinity) for a total of 11.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jumping on to the bed to get as much range as possible from the giant and ghosts floating around it, Komos drops his protector cannon, hoping to counteract a bit of the persistent damage they are causing.
As it rings it's bell, everyone in the party gains 5 temp hp.
He then pulls out his own gun-like rod, shooting a hot pellet towards the giant. Attack: 29 Damage: 20

This sounds like Komos started his turn inside the range and then moved out of range. Sadly that means he takes damage.
There's one set of feet. You don't know how many coins there are yet. The party didn't get enough time to make a proper estimate.

Attack 1: 23; Damage: 11 + 3 (curse) + 3 (acid) + 4 (str) +15 (smite) = 36

I assume you meant to Cast Hex, not Hexblade's curse. Those are two different things that work in two different ways.

@DM: Was hexblades curse: increased damage and increased crit range.
(( Did Komos or anyone else attack last turn....or are we still in that first turn? ))
We are still in first turn and Hex Blade's curse doesn't increase damage.
Nevermind, I forgot Hexblade's Curse gives you Prof bonus to damage.
Wisdom save: 7 (all rolls in log).
