You hear a faint rustling of leaves as Martha hides.
She hides so well, she vanishes from this demiplane, and literally, from your conscious thoughts and memories. You don't even remember her, she hides so well. Not even a polygraph test could come up positive about you remembering her, even though she was just next to you a moment ago.
(Just waiting for a battle plan, but I'll open with this: sleep on the guards, 19 hp affected. Not expecting to KO both, but if I can, all the better.)

Kia prepares an elaborate plan to rush the guard stealthily, use surprise to get advantage, strike twice, spend a ki point to strike two more times, and if one of them lands, spend a ki point to attempt to stun the guard. But then Martha pops out of literally nowhere, and wrestles the guard to the ground? Damn, girl. :)

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
No, they are werewolves. There is one werewolf asleep, and one has just been pushed down by Martha, who literally came out of nowhere. You guys need to take out the wereshovewolf before it alerts the rest of the cave. Those of you who are not in front of the cave mouth, it's one move action away.
(Seemingly. Also DM, how do you feel about coup de grace?)
Grishkar cracks a wicked smile a turns to his lumpy lawn ornaments, "Feast." Like a acene from a nightmare, the minions rise and converge on the sleeping werewolf.
(For mechanical specificity, the werewolf ks obviously prone. Zombies will come up, pile on via grapple, then start biting/smashing away. Can the werewolf die? Maybe not, but we'll find out what happens to a dismembered and disemboweled lycanthrope really quick.)

I did. Don't hold back, it's all part of the game, and your character, and how others would react. I'm here to judge the rules and roles, so play in character. It's all about fun.
What's next guys. I'm assuming venturing in. I hope. =P
Martha shoots him a glare as she steps in front of his horde, “Don’t touch that one. He’s unconscious right now. What we will do, is have Kia, Bors, and I beat him into submission as well.”
OOC: Oh, I’m late, ignore it, but note Martha’s discontent.
Martha flops down into the darkness, her dark clothes serving her well, 22. Like, really, really well.

OOC: And then Martha goes on a big inception-style adventure only to find that she was the Shadow she was hunting the whole time!

Haha! She becomes one with her clothes, so one, like, on an atomic level.
"anyone want to scout ahead and see what we're up against?" can we see a path to the cave mouth?
One of the guards just fell over asleep. The other one rushes to it, kneeling, trying to figure out what's going.
Now would be a good time to take action. There is a path to the cave mouth.
Sneaky Martha pops up behind the awake werewolf and attempts to grapple, 24, and IF that succeeds, will attempt to shove prone, 26.
OOC: We did want to take out the front guards, right?

Your grapple and shove produce the result you intend. Proceed with further actions.

OOC > what are the guards? Did I miss the description, again? Human?

Instead, Kia will close with the Martha/guard pair, and pummel the prone, grappled guard into submission, using non-lethal damage for the final blow.
With advantage, since the guard is prone.
Move: 45'
Unarmed strike:
Attack: 24 Damage: 11
Attack: 18 Damage: 11
If he is still conscious, spend a ki point for two more attacks as a bonus action:
Attack: 28 Damage: 17
Attack: 22 Damage: 11

That's one werewolf out. Wipe the blood off your knuckels, Kia.
The cave entrance is now clear.
Grishkar, you can act in any manner that you wish you character would do.

Ok, so that's one ripped up werewolf, and one knocked out for a while?
