I think I'll set up the map and process turn by turn. I think depending on who passes/fails and when, that people may decide to start attacking and I think if the rolls are pre-emptively made it will be easier to say you'd just attack instead of try and roll the check if you know the roll is going to fail. Might take a bit more time but I will try and move this along!
Round 1
Alton, Phillip, Gotur, Eku, Allosauruses, Azaka, Evo
Alton is up! So you can attempt that survival check if you'd like to get in a spot where the dinos can't reach you, or you can do something else if you'd like.
Map is updated (CANYON tab). The section of the canyon has some moss growing on the ground which you've seen before along with the regular foliage etc. (it's not meant to be water!) The blades of black basalt are in the distance but not in this combat sequence and not on the map.
Both of the guides are currently in their human forms and are going to attempt the survival checks as well, but will defend the party should one or more people not succeed.
(Evo, the flying suggestions may work and Eku may very well try something like that depending on how the initial hiding goes. That would now have to be done as a turn though.)
(Phillip, on your turn you can help someone (Gotur who'd be next) on their check yes, although that'd be your turn so you wouldn't get a check to roll yourself yet.)
(Feel free to make those first round survival checks out of turn if that's what you're doing for round 1 to save time)
((Gotur's more concerned for Alton, since Eku and Azaka can go toe to toe, Evo can fly, Philip can fly, and Gotur can turn into something that can either hide in a small space or climb easily.))
((Are the survival checks taking our action to do? Gotur has a pretty simple plan of wildshaping once getting a concentration spell going. For example, turning into a spider and hiding in a shrub, or a panther and leaping up into a tree.))
Alton, for whatever reason you are not able to find a suitable location. All of the places you look at in the split moment of your turn seem to be out in the open and you think that the dinos will be able to get you from the spots you see on this try. That is Alton's entire turn unless you have a bonus action that you'd like to perform.
You (or anyone else) can't attempt to hide because the dinos are on your scent. (the survival check isn't a hide attempt)
P'Lip is up. There'll be no need for you to help Gotur since he nailed his check! He will be in a spot where the dinos won't be able to get to him (Gotur you can describe it if you'd like. For instance, maybe tucked in between two large rocks or something.)
P'Lip, you could help Alton though for his next turn if you'd like.
So, Once P'Lip makes his check or helps Alton, it'll be Eku's turn. She will use her turn to change into her couatl form.
Then it'll be the dinos turn, but I will wait to process them until P'Lip confirms.
Alton, Phillip, Gotur, Eku, Allosauruses, Azaka, Evo
(if all party members are able to succeed on the check and/or get to a safe location or fly up in the air high enough before the dinos get to melee, the dinos will soon get frustrated once they get there and eventually leave)
Gotur spots a good sized tree that had been hit by lightning at some point, the shattered trunk revealing a hollow space that he ought to be able to squeeze into. He hauls himself up into the tree, well above the dino's reach, and drops in to where the tree becomes wedged around his middle. He's got a clear view of the surrounding jungle, and his edible bits are protected from dino bites.
((Like a scoop of ice cream in a waffle cone, just fat half orc and tree.))

Gotur is safe! The dinos will never be able to get him where he's described with his survival check.
Phillip helps Alton find a good spot (Alton to roll with advantage for next survival check on his turn if he so desires)
Phillip, the trees are fairly sturdy and tall. You could likely climb up one to the top and be unreachable, essentially allowing you to skip the survival check and simply climb the tree if need be.
Eku morphs into couatl form and hovers up 50 feet in the air, safe from the dinosaurs and ready to attack should someone not find a suitable location.
The allosauruses dash forward 120 feet as you hear the rumbling get closer.
Azaka attempts to also find a good spot where the dinos can't reach her. Survival: 18
-> and she's able to find a tree that has a hole in the trunk which she wedges herself into. (success) "I will come out should anyone need help, friends."
Evo is up! Map is updated.
Alton, Phillip, Gotur, Eku, Allosauruses, Azaka, Evo
Phillip won’t leave anyone behind… he spends his turn helpingAlton find a place of safe refuge…
@DM…
(( [edit…] Or if DM will allow, can Phillip roll with Alton’s help? eg Phillip hold his turn 2 action until Alton helps him on his turn 3 (+8 with advantage is all!). Then Phillip can find Alton a spot. Feels like that’s how it would work in real life. So Phillip looks with help on Alton’s next turn (3), then immediately has his own turn 3 turn. Hopefully to run/jump/dash up a tree)).
Alton, you continue to look around and still can't find anywhere that seems like a safe spot! Probably because panic might be setting in as you hear the rumbling getting closer.
There is no room in Gotur's tree for Alton to get in with him. Kinda figures :)
Yes - Phillip can look for a spot for Alton with advantage in round 3 if Alton helps Phillip on his turn in round 3. Then Phillip can climb a tree using his regular movement in that same round. However, it won't be until the start of the 4th round before Alton can then actually GET to the location that Phillip finds, IF the roll is successful.
What will P'Lip do in round 2 then? Hold action?
And Gotur, you could post your round 2 turn as well!
Eku is going to hold action in the air, waiting to see what happens next and ready to swoop down and protect Alton should she need to.
Alton, Phillip, Gotur, Eku, Allosauruses, Azaka, Evo
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Phillip can’t run the risk that the dinosaurs overrun the party before Alton can get safe on turn 4. He’ll use his current turn to try and find Alton a place of refuge (without help) so Alton can (hopefully) get clear with his next movement on turn 3…
Phillip looking for a place of safe refuge for Alton:
Ok, so Alton would now be able to just move into his safe spot at the start of the next round before the dinos make it even after round 2 dashing, meaning that every single party member is completely safe from the allosauruses. They would smash around the perimeter of the party a bit once they reached you, clearly angry that they can't get their late breakfast, but will after a few minutes just leave you alone and walk a different way into the jungle looking for their next hunt since they have no way of getting to any of you.
If the party members who are safe want to still engage the dinos who would essentially be sitting ducks at this point, have at it. I won't update the map for that slaughter, but feel free to roll attacks and cast spells if you want and we can play it through. make a few attacks since it'd be a few rounds likely until they are dead.
Azaka has her longbow drawn from her safe spot in a tree trunk and is ready to let loose 2 arrows on one of the dinos. She's just waiting for the word from someone.
Eku will not attack the dinos now that they are not a threat. She might even get upset.
Snug in his tree, Gotur waves his staff over his head, speaking in the the druidic tongue as he plucks eight newly sprouted leaves from his staff and lets them drift to the ground. As they do, the leaves flash into a green mote before spiraling outward and hovering over the the forest floor before flashing again, eight beasts now looking to him for orders.
"Big allosaurs incoming, attack them when they get here!"
