Eerie will keep aware of the other doors behind them and alert expecting that the dancing lights may adjust to the bard's location. Her Darkvision should prove useful should this occur and maintain visibility.
Notian swings open the western door and strides through; no locks, traps or alarms seem to go off as he enters the room. Crudely executed symbols and glyphs, scribed in bright green dye, decorate this large and irregularly shaped crumbling chamber.
A large pit in the center shows evidence of a recent fire. A metallic cage in the middle of the southern wall contains a gaping hole and stands empty. A small wooden bench draped with green cloth is next to the cage, and several small objects rest on it. A bedroll lies near the wooden bench, and the sound of whimpering comes from inside it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Uh, seems like that might be the source of the...crying" Foxford looks to the rest of the party as he points towards the bedroll, "I'm going to come over here and look in this...cage." he then makes his way awkwardly toward the cage and looks inside.
The metallic cage is all but destroyed and can no longer be used to restrain anything or anyone. A search of the cage reveals white scales that you recognise as those of a white dragon wyrmling.
The sound of weeping pulls at Carric's delicate heartstrings, and he creeps over toward the bedroll. From just a short step or two away, he quietly says "Hello there. Hello. Are you all right?"
Eerie enters with the last of the group making sure the door is closed well behind them and peers towards the northern running wide corridor. She stands out of the lights to get the best use of her dark vision and watching from a distance to see what Carric discovers in the the bedroll.
The sobbing continues, but drops in tone slightly as the figure inside the bedroll moves to poke their head out. You all recognise the creature as a kobold, small draconic humanoids with a preference for underground dwelling.
The kobold, sniffing and whimpering, has a number of fresh cuts and old scars on its face. It looks around your group with wide wet eyes and says in Common “Don’t hurt Meepo!”
@Eerie: (That's not a corridor north of you, the room ends at the edge of the picture. I think I had cropping issues)
Hey Meepo, don’t worry it’s going to be ok, we’re friends. Notian puts his arm around Meepo and starts to sing
“You never needed anybody's help in any way But now these days are gone, And Meepo’s not so self assured (but now these dragons are gone) (And now You find) You’ve changed your mind and we’ve opened up the doors.
We’ll Help you if we can with escaping here Let’s all get back to town and drink some beers We’ll Help you so wipe away your tears Won't you please, please help me, help you.”
13 enters the room and overhears the conversation with the kobold and Notion and wanders over.
He pats Notion on the shoulder, "good tune that"
To clarify he asks the kobold, "when you say 'don't hurt Meepo,' is that your name? Or is that the name of whatever dragon creature has escaped from the cage?"
Eerie will make a visual check to be sure there is nothing in the northern part of the room but not venturing too far from the group cautious of rats like above. She will then proceed to examine the objects on the table. She will look them over first before touching them, partially observing the interaction between the little Kobold and Notian.
Both doors leading off the northern end of this room look like nondescript wooden doors, but then something catches your eye on the western door; a thin wire stretched between the opposite door frames and about two inches off the floor (passive perception)
@Everyone:
You can now see that the koboldhas numerous scars across his body and face, long and thin as if caused by slashes from a particularly large razor blade. He leans into Notian’sembrace as he seems to let go of a degree of his tension, and his sobbing starts to soften. Answering 13’s and Carric’squestions he says “Meepois me, Keeper of Dragons. Awwwww but Calcryx is gone! Those wretched goblins stole her! Without a dragon, why would a tribe need Keeper of Dragons?”
Meepo keeper of Dragons it’s my great pleasure to meet you! perhaps we can help you get your Dragons back? Stealing is something that’s very frowned point in the teachings of the book of Ian. So you have any idea where they went? You are certainly welcome to join us in hunting them down and maybe smashing their faces in a little bit for good measure.

Eerie continues to wander about studying the green markings on the wall, trying to determine what they are and how they were made. If the markings are all about the room, she'll move closer to the side where the others are so that she may listen while she studies.
@GrubaMcD
She will make mental note of the 'trap' she suspects, but doesn't trust her dexterity to mess with it yet. Maybe the monk can help her later, he's an agile one.
The symbols are daubed in green dye and appear to be writing, but not in any language that you understand. They don't seem to have any religious or arcane connotations.
Whilst returning to the group from your careful wander, you notice the bench seems set up as some kind of crude altar, but not for any deity that you recognise. Some green paint (the same shade as the writing on the walls), a rough-haired brush and four small jade statues adorn the bench. You estimate that the statues would fetch a total of about 60gp at market.
Carric listens intently to Meepo's words, meeting the kobold's gaze directly and nodding. The wood elf seems to be a good listener, or at least is making every effort to be.
In response to Ian's words, he says "Yes, Meepo, perhaps we can help you. You mentioned your tribe. Where is the rest of your tribe? Are you kobolds fighting with the goblins?"
Eerie quickly and carefully gathers up the Jade figures, securing the dye by wrapping all in an article of cloth (a piece of packed clothing if necessary). She tries to make quick note of some of the symbols, digging out an old, worn letter and scribbling an example of it with ink and quill onto the back side for later study.
Then if time permits will move to study the dragon scales in the cage that Foxford mentioned.
Although she tries to do some of this out of view of Meepo while they are talking to him as not to distract him from the conversation, she doesn't attempt to hide it from the group. She is not interested so much in the value as in the research primarily and knows that Meepo may want them as well. Of course, she could always use more funds for her research.

"We may have other guests nearby, I found dragon scales in the cage"

Carric quietly joins Notian in checking on Meepo. He smiles slightly as the bard sings another song--he surely never is at a loss for music.
"Are you hurt?" he asks, joining 13 in the questioning. "What has happened here?"
