Hi all, I’m looking for a spell which I can use to create a plant in front of me from essentially nothing (bar component factor of the spell). For reference I’m a level 10 Druid of the land (mountain) which gives me access to level 5 spells of the class.
The most obvious solution would be Plant Growth. Carry around a satchel of seeds and you can make a 100ft radius area become thick and overgrown. A standard pouch can hold probably 10,000+ small seeds.

thank you!
We can be more helpful if you can specify what you want from the plant. If you just want to create life from nothing, you're out of luck. But there are plenty of spells that just produce vines and and plants for various purposes. Entangle for example, only requires "ground."
This would work to create a plant, but it's not creating a plant from nothing like originally requested. What they requested is not possible within the bounds of the D&D universes.
OP explicitly allowed for spell components, which sets a bar for what "from nothing" is meant to mean. Seeds can be found essentially anywhere, in near infinite quantities, and cost nothing, as long as the Druid isn't picky about varietals. Orchid seeds are the size of "a speck of dust", so they're basically the craft glitter of the plant world. Even if you showered multiple times, you'd probably still discover a few interspersed throughout your hair and clothes. That's as close to "from nothing" as anything really needs to be.
The exception for this is if the player is in a barren plane for a long time, in which case, they would benefit from a negligible amount of preparation.
Since this lead me to do a little bit of research, it may be of interest to know that the largest seed is the coco-de-mer, which can weigh up to 30kg!
There is a spell that can create life from nothing. Wish. It looks clearly in line with the power requirements. I would allow you to personally design a 9th level Druid spell that creates a new-born plant or beast that you have previously touched/seen.
Note, this is not a combat spell, it is a utility spell. You think it is weak because it has little to no immediate benefits. But it has major consequences to a world over the long term. Just ask any American about Kudzu, any Australian about Cane Toads.
Life from nothing is straight out GOD like behavior. I can see a 9th level spell doing it, nothing short.

What is your end goal?

The closest I can think of is https://www.dndbeyond.com/magic-items/staff-of-flowers
