Fully agree. I love the Artificer class. It has a lot of the great customizability that the Warlock has, while being very versatile and powerful. Warlocks are a very customizable class, but WotC made the mistake of making Eldritch Blast spamming too appealing. They didn't make that mistake for the Artificer, where any subclass (yes, even the Alchemist on occasion) can be very effective and worth playing.
Alchemist was helped by the new creature rules from Tasha's. Now a Homunculus can deliver your stuff with a BA!
Prediction: the next UA document will be a selection of twenty new pairs of magical pants and new rules for creating and adjudicating Arcane Tailoring as an Advanced Background option.
so magical clothesperson? Like i get that this is a joke but that honestly sounds neat if broadened even slightly. "Magewright" as an background option who can make certain especially low-value common magic items by default and much faster, or who can cast versions of certain cantrips that ONLY work within their trade (such as the examples of an chef who can cast prestidigitation only on food or a launderer / clothesperson who can cast prestidigitation or mending but only on cloth, such as what is discussed here). A background that only gave one of those benefits is something i could see as narrow and flavourful enough to be a background feature.
(and when i say low-value common magic item, i mean like something worth less than the typical 50 gp, perhaps a pair of magically cleansing pants or a cloak of billowing that is worth only between 30 and 15 gold pieces)

well they are technically monk weapons, so fang and fist
. . . That's my point. You can do 1d10+5 magical damage each bite, regaining HP 6 times a day.
Thats pretty good, although you can effectively acheive the same thing by playing a Dwarf and taking the Dwarven Fortitude feat. That being said, this route is more costly than just playing a Dhampir (you would need to take the feat, which is an extra step, plus you would either need to take the Dodge action rather than attacking OR as a monk use patient defense to do it as a bonus action and spending a ki point. Either way it also consumes Hit Die).
also a bit sad that they are dropping cultural traits entirely now, they could at least have them as optional things like "the typical [race] is typically proficient with common and [language], this alignment and put their abillity score improvements into these abillity scores, also here is an optional feature reflective of [race]'s culture, it will replace [generic feature or biological feature]" so that we could still have a version of the tri-kreen linneage that gains proficiency with those neat racial weapons
also love how the reborn now acts as a "robot man" for the people who kept using warforged in non-ebberon settings by simply talking about them as being a person reborn into the body of a construct, do not fancy the knowledge of a past life as it feels too abstract/ generic
also love the reborn as a generic skeleton / zombie race, even if it might not work as a skeleton (i can still be poisoned, how?)
(does however make perfect sense for these individual linneages, being things any of the typical dnd races can be and things without a set culture of their own)

I'm glad they're dropping the cultural mechanics. That can be in the background in future editions of D&D, or even in an additional "Culture" option that grants these proficiencies. It makes sense to detach them.
I do like having a "Frankenstein's Monster" race/lineage/species. I wouldn't call it the "non-eberron warforged", as these don't even have to be constructs, but it is a nice option.
I also would like a generic undead race. I've made a couple for my homebrew world.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
it would be interesting however if we got the abillity to play something fully not alive outside of home brew, like not just being humanoid and another creature type at the same time and having advantage on saves against poison and poison resistance, but just straight up being a construct/ undead with all the pros and cons of that plus full poison immunity (mostly cons in that you could not be healed by most effects and would get obiltterated by clerics)

...well; there goes my idea for a "Dhampir" Rogue subclass. XD
But seriously; I'm loving these options...I'm a big fan of "gothic" motiffs; and the prospect of having a vampire-esque character without the kerfuffle of Sunlight Sensitivity sounds spectacular.
I sort of want to make a half-drow who shames people for maligning his appearance...right before he bites them in the throat.
That, or a halfling...if for no other reason that I like having a small race that can get a speed boost.
Hmm...what is the potential of a dhampir paladin...? Exciting stuff.
Climbing on walls and ceilings with a baked-in "Spider Climb" is just..shivers...amazing.
The bite ability...well, that is simply a great mechanic. I like that little bit that when you're below half HP; you get advantage on the bite: sort of signifying that your innate hunger is getting agitated because you're losing focus, or you're weakened.
"Hexblood" seems like a bite-sized version of the "Archfey Warlock"...you've got a history with hags, and they've left you with some of the spells, beguilement, and weirdness that comes with them. Probably the one I'm least interested in; but I can see myself giving it a go for a "Fey Wanderer" Ranger or a Druid with a slightly "witchy" angle to them.
The novelty of just yanking a part of your body off and giving it to a party member is also something many will have fun with, I'm sure ; )
And finally, they have the "Reborn": because people missed the concept of the "Revived" Rogue; but wanted it for other classes.
Firstly, I like that the descriptions evenly distribute between the various "types" of...monster, let's say:
You've got your "Frankensteins Monster", stitched together corpse-man...your undead zombie who suddenly becomes sentient...your undead revenant, who possibly has unfinished business...your clockwork construct (who I may or may not call Pinocchio for a halfling)...a former petrified statue (this is actually a really nifty one I hadn't considered)...and even a scarecrow!
Secondly...this is a race that is pretty flexible. The ability to add a d6 to your skills is something you'll use for the entirety of the character; and when combined with various classes, can help you build whatever sort of character you want to conceptualize.
Divine Smite adds to the damage that the bite does. This means, whenever you Divine Smite with your Bite, you can either regain HP equal to 1d4 + your Constitution modifier + Divine Smite dice, or add this total to the next ability check or attack roll you make.
Assuming you're a level 10 paladin or lower with a 14 CON, you're going to be able to either regain an average of 13.5 hit points or add an average of 13.5 to the next attack roll or ability check, just using a 1st-level divine smite.
To absolutely abuse this to the max, you're going to want to be at least a Level 13 Paladin (any subclass works) and at least level 1 Hexblade as a level 17+ character. Using Spirit Shroud, Hexblade's Curse, Improved Divine Smite, and a 5d8 Divine Smite, you're going to deal 1d4 + CON mod. + 6 piercing damage + 6d8 radiant damage + 1d8 necrotic/radiant/cold damage.
(Assuming a CON of 20) That's an average of 51 damage, which you get to either regain in HP or add to your next Ability Check or Attack Roll. +51 to hit the Tarrasque? Yes, please!
At most with a normal hit, that's going to be 71 damage. If it's a critical hit, that's an average of 79 damage. If it's a critical hit with maximum damage, that's going to be 131 damage.
There are other ways to increase this damage, too. An ally Grave Cleric could use their Channel Divinity to double this damage to 262. You could replace Spirit Shroud with a smite spell to crank up the one attack's damage even more.
RAW, this is crazy broken. They need to fix this. I'm going to give this feedback once the survey is out.

Yeah. WotC needs to be alerted of this. I'm sure they don't want this lineage to be able to get a +262 to an attack roll/ability check.
