Playtested bard/warlock multiclass and bard is weaker than it looks. The Tales from Beyond uses both action and bonus action, which is pretty bad. Also the randomness makes it hard to think when to use.
Undead Warlock is pretty normal. I won't know unless I reach higher levels because warlock features come real late.

Do remember that you can get the tale before a combat, you don't have to use an action and bonus action if you want to only give away one of them :).

I wish I could lol. My char never "expects" combat. Unless my char sees a burning town from afar would never get to use it before combat

No need to "expect combat" though. Just commune with the spirits. You don't know whether what they tell you will be useful exclusively for combat or for whatever other situation that might occur during the day. Heck you don't necessarily know that it will be useful at all in-character. Communing with the spirits is just what they do. Getting something useful out of it is just a mechanical bonus.
Saying your spirit bard character doesn't "prepare a tale" because they don't expect combat is like saying your fighter character leaves his armor and weapons locked away because they don't expect combat or your mage character leaves their spellfocus at home because they don't expect the need to cast spells.
I mean... ok, but i like getting mechanical bonuses. It's not like you have unlimited bardic inspiration die to spend
Armor, Weapons, Spell focuses have one thing in common: UNLIMITED USE
By 5th level, Bardic Inspiration refreshes on a Short Rest. It’s not a big deal to use one BI in the morning to get a Tale from Beyond and sit on it until you need it. As soon as you get your lunch break you’re gonna go back to full BI anyway.
Does annyone know if your warlock becomes undead if u pick the undead patron? Does this mean that spells like healing word cannot effect this warlock subclass?
I'm concerned about the warlock capstone. It seems to have very janky mechanics. It eats your concentration making it easily lost, while allowing you to be targeted at two different locations, possible very far from your party. Add to that since both points can be hit at the same time, it is very possible to take double damage from an AOE. Also what is to stop random goblin A from tying you up or some other shenanigans? Beyond that it is a very solid class, and I like the bard class as well.

Is Tales from Beyond UNLIMITED? Definitely no

The number of uses of Form of Dread for The Undead, has been updated to correctly work off the character's proficiency bonus.
