Ok so was thinking today if I could make a party, mix classes but all just a single race, which race would most irritate a DM?
Some rules, because you need them. Floating ASIs are presumed to be being used to ensure balance. Nothing with a fly speed, it is just too obvious :). Official published (so in any WOTC book) races only, my thoughts.
Tabaxi, the extra movement can be really irritating when they just keep away from monsters, the climb ability, dark vision, proficiency in stealth and perception.
Satyr, a party full of magic resistance who can charm there way through your campaign persuading and convincing.
None of them should be particularly annoying. If everyone has the same racial traits, then it's easy to adjust the campaign to accomodate that.
The most interesting option would be something like the Simic Hybrid, where each character could still be significantly different by choosing different traits as they level.

What about Eladrin, who could all change their traits on a long rest? Although I suppose none of them are that different from each other.

Canto alla vita alla sua bellezza ad ogni sua ferita ogni sua carezza!
I sing to life and to its tragic beauty To pain and to strife, but all that dances through me The rise and the fall, I've lived through it all!
I suppose a party full of Changlings would allow the most out there ways of dealing with problems.
The guard are hunting you, great we all shift, you need to sneak into the castle, nope we all shift. I suppose players could even just swap character sheets around, my wizard right now is looking like and trying to be the rogue.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
At first I was going to say a party of all Kender . . . but if all of them are constantly stealing from each other and perfectly fine with it, that actually probably wouldn't be that annoying (so long as the players aren't being jackasses, that is).
After thinking about it a bit more . . . definitely Kenku. Especially if you're using the Volo's version of them, where they're required to use Mimicry all the time.

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
I can get behind "authentically-played" Kenku as the worst full party race. (Mechanically simple, Roleplay nightmare.)
A sane DM would simply let the party "Dub" their roleplay so that everyone could just speak normally, but some DMs might try to see who will break first.
However, a professional group of voice actors could make an all Kenku group really, really fun to watch.

Well I mean, that's the answer after all tho lol.
Party of Yuan-ti/Vedlken would be ass tho. As well as changeling because the party would spend all their time trying to freak out the populace and then get mad when the NPCs are rightfully afraid of them lol.
Hobgoblin party could be a slight annoyance cuz ALL of them get saving face haha. Then one of them's an artificer and so everyone gets FoG too.
Any of the lineages is also up there, reborn & dhampir in particular.
Uh what about variant human or custom lineage for the free feat lvl 1 (very strong and flexible for literally all classes). Elves are also strong choices as well for their fey ancestry, meditation, and MULTIPLE subclass options (each with their own good and unique benefits).

Sea Elves and/ or Kenku w/ Mimicry . Although it could also make a very interesting party.

Halflings, re-rolling all those 1’s and just skipping right through most creature’s squares.
A party of all Dwarves plus one Halfling.

One Grung Above.
Anything fey, since so many spells and magic effects target humanoids only.
Halflings, it would be nothing but rerolling 1's throughout the game. It would get exceedingly old very fast.
If you want the DM to yell he's had it with these M-Fing snakes on this M-Fing adventure, you know what to do.
Want to start playing but don't have anyone to play with? You can try these options: [link].

Kobolds.
Infinite disadvantage vs even one single solitary advantage = straight roll.
Enjoy all players getting advantage almost all the time and never ever getting disadvantage.
Further enjoy said players going to almost any lengths to fight at night.
As a DM, I would just falling-rocks the whole bloody lot of them.
..
(that's not true, but omg it would be challenging)
Strictly "Rules as written" Kenku.
+ the halfling feat Bountiful Luck, in case anyone gets really unlucky.
Wanted to say 'halfling half feat' more than anything, but alas... no ASI.
