Hey! I've been running a campaign for a while now and I've decided to raise the stakes as my players have grown accostumed to a more lenient playstyle. I've homebrewed a giant serpent boss which they have to defeat in order to progress in the story, except I don't really know if it's kind of overkill or not.
Could I get some heads up from more experienced DMs? Party consists of four players, all at level 6: Two Barbarians, one goblin Path of the Beast and the other a half-orc Totem Warrior; a kenku thief and a warforged hexblade.
