I am creating a homebrew subclass in the creator, and of the spells I've put into my spell table, only two can be upcast, Moonbeam and Hunter's Mark. However, every other spell in the list is showing up on every spell level, as if they could be upcast. How do I fix this?
Technically any spell can be cast at a higher level, even if they don’t get any more powerful for having done so. On the character sheet you can turn off the setting that shows those spells cast at higher levels. Alternatively (depending on what class your subclass is for), where you added the spells you can designate that they be cast at specific levels which should theoretically also eliminate their appearances at higher levels on the character sheet.
When you specified the levels, did you do the “cast at level,” or the “available at character level” field?
Did you re-save the entire subclass using the main [SAVE CHANGES] button under Basic Information?
Did you then wait 20 minutes for the system to update before checking?
If the answers to those questions are “cast at level,” “yes,” and “yes,” then you’ll have to fix it on the character sheet itself by toggling off that feature.
Ahh, yeah, the “spell level” box is for letting the player choose a spell of that level, best to put that back to blank so it doesn’t inadvertently cause any issues.

I'm building it for Sorcerer and specifying levels didn't seem to work.

Changes the Spell Level boxes back and did all the non-upcasting in their descriptions as Cast at Level. That fixed everything! Thanks once again!
