Eldrazi from Magic: The Gathering have always to me seemed to be a great idea to add as a monster type for homebrews. DM´s could introduce them in a campaign and bring fear once the player see the power they have, and at the climax they can face one of the 3 titans themselfs. I like the idea of how they change the world around where they go, and how the player can be the heros that save the planet. Even after that battle, if a players return to that same world they can see how the world is rebuilding, where some of these creatures still hide, and how it affected the world.
So, I asked the main question of do you think this is a good idea? And what are your thoughts?
As for as monster types go, I think they'd actually fit fairly well under the aberration category. They're a race native the the Blind Eternities, the space between planes.

If they were in a campaign, it may be about either escaping them or “binding” them (with hedrons?) instead of killing them. People have made versions of the titans, and are probably a major challenge for level 20 characters.
Also, I like the idea of the players traveling over a couple planes, seeing the carnage the eldrazi cause, and then defeating them on a half eaten plane.
