If a player rolls 3 nat 20s consecutively, they go directly to Jail and do not pass GO.
Wait. I might have the wrong game in mind.🤔

Human. Male. Possibly. Don't be a divider. My characters' backgrounds are written like instruction manuals rather than stories. My opinion and preferences don't mean you're wrong. I am 99.7603% convinced that the digital dice are messing with me. I roll high when nobody's looking and low when anyone else can see.🎲 “It's a bit early to be thinking about an epitaph. No?” will be my epitaph.
Sword of Stupidity Weapon (greatsword), very rare (requires attunement)
While wielding this longsword, your Strength score becomes 30. Additionally, you have advantage on all Strength based ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws.
Curse. As soon as you attune to this item, your Intelligence score permanently and instantly becomes 1. No magical effect or feature, not even the wish spell, can raise your Intelligence score.

I've played with a few people who would be just fine with that.

Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
DDB provides support for 1 popular unofficial house rule such as automatic pass/fail with 20/1 on checks and saves.
(This is a bad idea because the demands would never cease afterward always pointing at the one time when DDB gave in to supporting one unofficial house rule.)

2nd: Your type is Undead not whatever it was before, you gain immunity to poison damage and the poisoned condition.
6th: Your spellbook functions as a phylactery. Every seven days you must use a action to steal the soul of a unconscious creature, or turn into a skeleton as if by the effects of a true polymorph spell
10th: You may use a reaction to automatically succeed on a turn undead saving throw.
14th: You gain immunity to Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks and Resistance to Necrotic, Cold, and Lightning damage

Microsoft buys Hasbro and gets WotC and D&D in the process.
Microsoft (and this is coming from a fanboi) has this bad habit of acquiring something, deciding it doesn't like it, and just letting it go back into the wild on its own without further resources, leaving desperate people scrambling for a new benefactor.
Worse: EA buys Hasbro and gets WotC and D&D in the process.
As an EA-hater (and I admit it proudly because they earned it), EA has this habit of acquiring something, making ridiculous demands of it, and dismantling it when it fails to meet those unobtainable demands - almost as if that's the whole intent in the first place but that EA just wants to justify doing it. Over 3 decades of obliterated and completely gutted developers thanks to EA (several being once popular)...

Every city you stop in, you attract a minstrel. Each minstrel sings praises of your great or despicable deeds, and you can't get rid of the musicians. Each minstrel gives a cumulative -2 bonus to stealth checks.
Depending on the instrument, you get different bonuses:
Bagpipes: Your strength score increases by 1
Birdpipes, Pan Flute : You have advantage on Persuasion checks against satyrs
Drum, Hand Drum, Wargong: While travelling, you move a extra mile per hour
Flute, Longhorn, Shawm, Songhorn, Thelarr: You may cast charm person, but only on children or rats. While casting the spell this way, rats count as humanoids. Any town, city or village you cast this in is renamed Hamelin.
Glaur, Horn, Tantan, Tocken: No effect beyond the -2
Lute, Lyre, Viol, Yarting: You can cast the Calm Emotions spell once per long rest
Whistle-Stick: Your minstrel companion is a grung. You may use them to coat your weapons in poison
Zulkoon: When you force someone with a spell on the bard spell list to make a saving throw, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the roll

EA is the place where good IP goes to die.
But I think being bought out by Disney is more likely.

They're going to replace all the disclaimers at the beginning of books with lenticular images of the Disney castle with the star going over it!
If Disney gets it, the odds of EA getting exclusives on it are annoyingly high.
(Probably something in EA's contract - some Fiendish document penned in the Nine Hells. Nobody gets into a good deal with EA. Nobody.)
