This stoppered flask sloshes when shaken, as if it contains water. The decanter weighs 2 pounds.
You can use an action to remove the stopper and speak one of three command words, whereupon an amount of fresh water or salt water (your choice) pours out of the flask. The water stops pouring out at the start of your next turn. Choose from the following options:
"Stream" produces 1 gallon of Alcohol of the user's choice.
"Fountain" produces 5 gallons of Alcohol of the user's choice.
"Geyser" produces 30 gallons of Alcohol of the user's choice that gushes forth in a geyser 30 feet long and 1 foot wide. As a bonus action while holding the decanter, you can aim the geyser at a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or take 1d4 bludgeoning damage and fall prone. Instead of a creature, you can target an object that isn't being worn or carried and that weighs no more than 200 pounds. The object is either knocked over or pushed up to 15 feet away from you. If the Geyser comes into contact with flame, the geyser explodes, dealing 10d10 fire damage to all creatures within 10 feet, and destroying the decanter
Any Spell that deals fire damage cast within 10 feet of the alcohol produced by this item causes the puddle of alcohol to ignite, dealing 10d10 fire damage to creatures within 20 feet, and causing all puddles of alcohol within that radius to explode as well. If the decanter is within the blast, roll a d20. on a 1 it is destroyed.
Potion of Hangovers. Upon drinking this potion, you instantly become hung over for the next 24 hours. You have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks for the duration. You also have a massive headache that prevents you from maintaining concentration. If you have the Rage special ability, you can enter a Rage at any time without using an action, and you automatically maintain it for the maximum duration regardless of whether or not you take damage or attack an enemy each round. You cannot voluntarily end a Rage early while hung over.

the fail sword. A plus 10 magic sword that always misses. Like always. It cannot hit anything. You could have the enemy locked in a position by magic and the sword pressed against their neck and it would still miss. Give to your players, watch them squirm.
roll a d20 in secret every time they attack with it, calling it a random chance of a mishap. The roll does not matter.

DISCLAIMER: WIZARDS OF THE COAST DOES NOT OFFICIALLY ENDORSE THE FOLLOWING TACTICS, WHICH ARE GUARANTEED TO MAXIMIZE YOUR ENJOYMENT AS A DUNGEON MASTER. FIRST, ALWAYS KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE AND SAY OK NO MATTER HOW LUDICROUS OR DOOMED THE PLAYERS’ PLAN OF ACTION IS. SECOND, NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, PRETEND THAT YOU INTENDED ALL ALONG FOR EVERYTHING TO UNFOLD THE WAY IT DID. THIRD, IF YOU’RE NOT SURE WHAT TO DO NEXT, FEIGN ILLNESS, END THE SESSION EARLY, AND PLOT YOUR NEXT MOVE. WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, ROLL A BUNCH OF DICE BEHIND YOUR SCREEN, STUDY THEM FOR A MOMENT WITH A LOOK OF DEEP CONCERN MIXED WITH REGRET, LET LOOSE A HEAVY SIGH, AND ANNOUNCE THAT TIAMAT SWOOPS FROM THE SKY AND ATTACKS.

ummm.. how about very common?
How about a magic cleaver that chops in half any bit of meat greater than an ounce within 1 mile of it?

Very Uncommon
Isn't that better than a vorpal Sword? Most things with heads are meat
First, Very uncommon would be similar to rare, and second...
pretty much anything alive in D&D is meat of some sort, so...
