Posted Jul 9, 2022Such a shame PHB Beastmaster had a size limit. Then you could have just used a beast like this as mount.

Posted May 11, 2023Closest analogue we know about are things like ostrich, rhea, and emu. According to the Safari Ostrich Farm, it takes about 18 months for an ostrich to be a full adult. Can't see any reason really why axe beaks would be much different. Hope that helps!

Posted Jul 12, 2023Why do these birds look so much like short moas? All the drawings could just be of a moa(for those who don't know, moas are an extinct species of flightless bird from NZ)(google what they look like, and compare the two)

Posted Aug 14, 2024My Oath of Glory Kobold Paladin had an Axebeak as a mount, but he outgrew it in terms of level.
Which mount would still have the look and style of a big evil colorful mount but with more HP AC and beak power?

Posted Sep 23, 2024I have a Warlock/ Paladin that is able to summon an axe beak with the find steed spell. He also has the mounted combatant feat. Together they dominate the battle field.

Posted Oct 7, 2024I used these guys to trigger a whole hall that was rigged to the point that it would be highly unlikely for a lv. 20 barbarian to survive. (Took about 3 in game months to get to the other side, and we went thru about 190 Ave Beasts) ( It was about 1.5 km. long.)
