Keen Smell. The giant has advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on smell.
Innate Spellcasting. The giant's innate spellcasting ability is Charisma. It can innately cast the following spells, requiring no material components:
At will: detect magic, fog cloud, light
3/day each: feather fall, fly, misty step, telekinesis
1/day each: control weather, gaseous form
Actions
Multiattack. The giant makes two morningstar attacks.
Morningstar. Melee Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 21 (3d8 + 8) piercing damage.
Rock. Ranged Weapon Attack: +12 to hit, range 60/240 ft., one target. Hit: 30 (4d10 + 8) bludgeoning damage.
this thing is scary!

What’s up with the fangs!
Zoom into the picture, they're lip rings :)
I think it's a bit of "fee fie foe fum"
my guy can arm wrestal a bunch of gaints.
My Dragonborn barbarian could simply crush this thing.
I literally smashed one of these guys in the foot with a war hammer once
Lip piercing. Really!
You it can't actually fly? I might give them limited flight if I run them, a king of the sky is somewhat undermined when it's earthbound
Ok so hear me out:
Cloud Giant's Lair:
>Just before the giant's main room (where he is) he prepares a table with some of his vegetables/fruits. Maybe lots of garlic. Just food there, maybe served by some servants stating that the Lord of the castle (the giant) wants them to have their last meal out of courtesy.
>Food smells incredibly good, (like pumpkin filled with garlic infused duck soup). Not poisoned. Not enchanted. No traps in the chair or plate or anywhere. Just really good giant food.
>There is a trick.
>The actual fight: Cloud giant summons fog cloud and then clubbers everyone who ate the food my located them with smell.
I always had a soft spot for Cloud Giants, mainly the Neutral Good ones.
So gross looking.
This is spectacular and perfectly fits a darker fairytale.
The Cloud Giant can cast fly, three times a day, with no material components.
odd spells
I want to fight this guy but i don't have a DM or party
for my campeign i have them playing uno
My man has got some really square toes. And the only reason I was looking down there was because they're so freaking big. Shut up.
Something that stands out.
Children of the Trickster. Information provided in this section suggests that evil cloud giants should have proficiency in Deception, and might have some illusion spells added to their Innate Spellcasting (flavor as control over clouds creating semi tangible forms). Meanwhile, good Cloud Giants should have persuasion. If more information was provided on Memnor the Trickster in the Monster Manual, Volo's, or Bigby's, it might be worth delving into that for options.
What's surprising is that I don't recall seeing any stat blocks that use that, even in the Monster Manual expanded books.
