Posted Dec 1, 2023id argue tht the fire damage yes negates it, but if u run homebrew burning conditions, then theres no need, as its a crazy fun event running from a flaming zombie thats constantly almost dying until it finally fails the save it makes each turn as it burns. and i think thats hilarious

Posted Dec 1, 2023no such thing, its accurate to what it should be. if u want it to be weaker make it dumber. zombies haver high hp, thats their thing, the challenge is how to hit it a bunch without getting hit. and the DM can make any encounter incredibly easy or incredibly hard just by how they play it. and so can YOU!

Posted Dec 1, 2023actually if you make this a low stakes goofy encounter you could have the dumb zombies hitting eachother. so for a stealthy/dexterous group that would be a brilliant en counter, running between their legs, tricking them into knocking eachother out like the trolls in the hobbit

Posted Oct 1, 2024What are you on about? Regular ogres have 2 weapon choices (but are not necessarily in possession or either or both of them) and they only attack once. How, exactly, does 1 > 1? Hm?

Posted May 5, 2025They list saving throw modifiers whenever it's different from the check modifier. So in this case, since the normal Wisdom modifier is -2, +0 is different from that, so they list it there.

Posted Sep 13, 2025I'm having ten of these face a rogue, wizard, barbarian, archer, druid, cleric, and fighter, the druid is level two, the rest are all npc's at level four or five and the rouge is the only player.
