Posted Jul 12, 2022With many other unintelligent undead are considered unaligned (even Strahd’s zombies are unaligned), why’s the normal zombie considered NE? (considering many monsters in MotM got a bit of a cleanup, many being changed to “Typically X”; I don’t think changing zombies to Unaligned would’ve damaged any long-standing lore)

Posted Aug 6, 2022Could I zombify, say, just a hand? It would just act as a limp floating appendage that follows me around and can use some sort of scratch move.
Using animate dead, could I make it happen?

Posted Sep 29, 2022Makes a nice health battery for a necromancer if they cast Vampiric Touch, and you can even get some extra juice out of them due to undead fortitude.

Posted Oct 30, 2022I like the diversification the zombie offers. Especially at DC20 where they start to regenerate. Regenderation makes it a whole new ballgame with zombies the party has already beaten or creatures defeated being reanimated to rid the dungeon of its intruders, it would be appropriate to add a few of these critters back into current encounters just to remind the party that they too are prey.

Posted Dec 3, 2022Bruh. How do you lose to two zombies? I would like a recap of what exactly your party did to die to these things. I ran a campaign with a grim reaper as a boss, he summoned 4 zombois, and a level 1 party beat them.
