I would suggest Great Axe. Dual Wielding 2 Battle Axes is not possible unless you take the Dual Wielder feat and if you are going for a feat, Great Weapon Master will net you more damage most of the time dues to the Barbarian's access to Reckless Attack. Hand Axes damage is quite low but could still work as you get the Rage damage bonus to each attack, with the main selling point being you can Dual Wield them without any extra requirement and they will provide you with a consistent Bonus Action attack.
However the math changes if your campaign goes beyond level 9 and the Brutal Critical ability gets taken into account. The Great Axe then becomes superior (in my opinion) as Barbarians tend to get more crits due to Reckless Attack.
If you're going Berserker, your most valuable trait is the ability to make a full-power weapon attack as a bonus action each turn. This will have the greatest impact if you're wielding a weapon that outputs as much damage as possible for each individual attack, and in the options you've listed, that's a greataxe.
Stuck in a predicament here, I have a orc barbarian character and I can't decide what weapon to give him.
He has a outlander background and im deliberating between a great axe or two handaxes/battle-axes.
Opinions wanted on what would look the coolest and be the most functional for a 7 foot 8 all muscle berserker barbarian.
