edit 2: actually the force ballista already on the sheet is hot garbage too, it adds your int mod too the damage too. I decided to just make it a Cantrip.
I've just now saw that you can actually display the force ballista already on the sheet as an attack (so inane that it isn't automatically set to do so), so problem solved!
I'm trying to make my force ballista as a custom attack so I don't have to roll the stuff in Roll20 with the dice roller. But keeps adding my int bonus to the damage. Is there some way to make it so it doesn't do that?
I tried taking out the int bonus with putting a minus in the damage bonus, but it always resets to 1. I decided to just make it a cantrip for the time being.
For Custom Weapon and Spell Actions it will always automatically add the Ability bonus to the damage rolls. You would have to switch it to being a General Action to stop it from doing that.

Make sure you type -2 (or whatever) into the box, and then hit Tab, so that it's more likely to "lock-in" the customization. Sometimes it doesn't stay after you refresh the page so you may need to redo a customization. I've got an Artillerist where I did this, I refresh the character sheet and the damage is still canceled-out.

I take it you're an Artillerist Artificer. What class level?
Edit: Actually, it's a known bug. Here's a thread about it: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/class-forums/artificer/55940-force-ballista-damage-bugged
Edit2: And it works to customize the Force Ballista to put a negative value in Damage Bonus, to subtract your current INT mod, for the time being.
