My character starts as fighter and MCs into ranger, taking fighting style blindsight first. Then on ranger level 2 my DM allowed me to swap the new ranger fighting style around, so that I take blindsight now and edit fighter style "superior technique" in. This results in neither the maneuver nor the combat die showing up in my sheet. Am I missing something or do I have to recreate the character anew with the right combat style?
As per the very first post in the thread specifically for issues related to Tasha’s Cauldron material (Its pinned near the top of this forum. It must have been visible when you created this thread.):
Fighting Style - Superior Technique. Not functional. We don't currently have a sensible way of implementing the selection of maneuvers that wouldn't cause characters to become broken in the future. We're working on a solution for this known issue.
Fighting Style - Thrown Weapon Fighting. Displays information on the character sheet, but does not automatically increase damage on throwing weapons. If you take this fighting style for a character, please use the character sheet and select valid weapons, customizing them to add the +2 damage. We are working on a solution for this known issue.
Why would Google need to index it?!? Whenever any new sourcebook is released DDB pins a bug thread for that book. The very first post always contains the “to do” list of stuff that isn’t functional yet and then things typically get moved to the second post as they get checked off the to do list and get put on the done list.
Since that fighting style was published in Tasha’s, where else would you find the most accurate information the fastest than in the very first post of the bug thread for Tasha’s?!? it’s like, where else would a bear shit but the woods…?
