I know that this thread is pretty old, but I had the same problem and posted a similar thread to this one. Like this one, it got no replies. It seems strange, as I would've thought this would be a fairly common problem. Kind of odd. Anyways, if someone stumbles across this thread, telling us how to delete threads would be appreciated. And if deleting posts on this website is not possible, letting us know would clear up confusion.

You can delete a post by hitting the [Tools] button at the bottom of the post, if you don’t see it turn your phone sideways.
You can delete a thread by deleting the first post in the thread.
