Here it is, almost June 2024, and Wizards has yet to fix this... It should be easy enough to add Ammunition to the weapon list; after all, they added Exandria firearms, which less than 1% of their customers want or need. I would posit that ammunition is wanted/needed in ANY campaign! So why are they dragging their heels? All this attention on a new edition but none on existing issues?
How is this still an issue? 7+ Years?!?! What do we need to do to get this going? Do you want me to post every day? I work from home. I'll do it. This is ridiculous. You guys are making over half a billion dollars a year off us a year. What do we need to do to get your attention in a seven year old post? SEVEN YEARS! SEVEN! I almost never complain on here. In fact I've only posted twice in the 6 years I've been a DM tier subscriber. But this is some Nonsense.
Because they haven't fixed it yet. Reasons may include but are not limited to: low priority, lack of available time and resources due to other book releases, they just can't be bothered.

It's not about attention. They know some people want this feature. If they are going to get to it, they will when they think it is relevant to do so. If they're not going to get to it, then it'll never happen and they'll ignore this and similar threads.
You need to remember something: They don't work for you. They make the product the way they want it and will update it when they see fit. People replying to say they would like the feature is welcome and maybe there's a chance it might help them prioritise the issue. Karen-complaining and demanding they make what you want just because you're a subscriber or have bought content will not do anything for your case, will like cause you to be ignored. Threats to break rules and spam the forum ain't going to help. It's like a shop: you buy what is offered as it is currently offered, or you may leave if the products are not what you want. Having bought something before doesn't mean you get to tell the shop what to sell.
You have no rights here.
This is such a trivial matter (I mean, you can already make custom ammo. You can literally make custom ammo, right now, and play it in your games.) I will never understand this attitude some of you adopt over something so insignificant.

Yes. They have the right to ignore their fanbade and they even have the right to change the OGl if they like which you sound like you are full in backing them in their right to do so.
They are also allowed to use AI art, not tell anyone, and then either recall products or not when the fanbase takes exception to it.
What I am hearing is that if we feel they literally do nothing to improve DDB but rake in the money another company gav thm by crating the product thn everyone shoul unsubscribe. That is true, it is a good solution. And a fair one.
The idea that someone who makes a product does not work for the people buying said product is like saying that the cook at a restaurant does not work for the people who buy thir food so if tey want to replace the steak with tofu without telling anyone they have the right to do that if their boss i ok with it.
Without customers try to keep making a poduct.
I am not suggesting breaking any community rules in this post just a a note.

I'm confused, you made this as a reply to me, yet have clearly not read my post.
My post isn't saying don't provide feedback (if you read it you'll see I encouraged still doing so), my post is don't act like a Karen and threaten to break site rules until they do what you say. Especially over something so small.
Please read posts properly before replying and I would suggest don't make baseless assumptions so you don't do things like say a guy who made multiple videos about how WotC's OGL decisions were very bad was somehow in support of it.

This is not a "Feature the community would like to have." This is a BUG because there is a way to do it so it shows up properly in the system but the part needed to make it work correctly in their system is broken.
The workarounds people have come up with are just that, workarounds until the BUG is fixed. People have every right to keep complaining about this bug, in a product they're paying for until it is fixed.

It's really funny to see people coming to the defense of the poor, helpless, underdog Hasbro toy company about this. God forbid people expect a known bug to be fixed in a product they charge you money for, right?

They'll just ban you and carry on with whatever they're doing instead.

Especially a bug the original developers never addressed for years before selling it with the bug still intact.
