I have been using DnD Beyond for a couple of months and while for the most part is has been a pretty seamless experience I must say I was completely disappointed when I attempted to make a basic fighter.
Why are combat maneuvers and other abilities using surge points not listed in the limited use and attack sections of the website char sheet, why do i have to drill down several levels to find that information I would need to have available right away in combat? And why is the exported character sheet not specific to fighter classes and replace the spell casting page with fighter specific abilities and descriptions?
This is just basic layout and template design, I don't understand why this wasn't the intent of doing this. You can easily have class specific character sheets that can be exported in a easy to read and refer to manner.
I mean the website doesn't even tell me what subclass of fighter I am under my name at the top, but the label on the character thumbnails in "My Characters" section does? And specific class features like maneuvers are not listed in sections where they would be easier to understand? And using the same basic character sheet layout when you have the ability to design really specific character sheets that would in fact allow people to use these tools outside a computer screen?

The character sheet is undergoing a massive overhaul currently (due to go live soon) and has been completely redesigned.
I'm pretty certain that you'll find it significantly better! :)

I don't think there is a plan for class specific character sheets per se, but the upcoming character sheet revamp may address many of your concerns.
