The main trouble with the pdf export is that the frames and sizes are fixed and given, you cannot put more ink on it that fits on the A4 document, and you cannot put a scrollable box with tabs on it either. And what works for you (a collated list) wouldn't work for someone who would then would have to grab a book and try to look up each of those actions' description to know what it does and how it works.
I completely disagree.
It is pretty straight forward to have text truncated in a text box or to allow it to overflow and generate more boxes and more pages as needed. That is why I suggested it be at the end of the document so any text overflow just generates more pages that people can simply choose not to print.
Also, the collated list of actions has a pretty detailed description of how each action is performed as you can see from the screenshots I included. And sure if they need extra info they can always look it up, but the prompt that it is even available as a bonus action or reaction is invaluable. They make a much better cheat sheet in the heat of the moment than a complete mixed bag of complex features and traits with nothing in common except that they arise from the same class features.
Just tonight I watched as one of my players struggled to read through all her feature options trying to find anything at a glance that was a bonus action or a reaction or something else useful she could do on her turn. If she had had a simple list of reactions, bonus actions or special actions in front of her like the digital version has, she would have easily been able to scan and see if any of those applied in her situation.
The Collated lists are already present on the digital version, we just need it in the exported version.
Dunno if this was mentioned before, but I just noticed it while working on a higher level build concept for an upcoming character. I have a 6th level wizard with 0 spells in his spellbook and none prepared, so I noticed the (mostly) helpful little blurb that it puts under each spell level to let you know you have no spells available.
For instance, under the 2nd level spell list, it states: "You do not have any 2nd-level spells or spells that scale to 2nd level available, but you can cast lower level spells using your 2nd-level spell slots." Everything about that is perfectly fine. It states similar things about my lack of 3rd level spells.
The problem is with the first level spells, it states: "You do not have any 1st-level spells or spells that scale to 1st level available, but you can cast lower level spells using your 1st-level spell slots." Nearly everything about that statement is false. 0-level spells, or as they're known in 5th Edition: Cantrips, cannot be cast using 1st level spell slots, nor do they scale up if one would attempt to use a 1st level spell slot to cast them. Implying as such is confusing and misleading. It really should simply state: You do not have any 1st-level spells available."
Two years late to the "game" and this may be elsewhere, but my search found nothing:
When making a PDF PC sheet, it does not include the Background Feature anywhere...intentional??
The official character sheet (which the PDF export tries to replicate) does not have a specific section for the background feature. Most people would just list it to the generic features section, which has a very limited space, so other people just skip it to have enough space for racial and class features that come up way more often during game.

I also may be late to the game, but I've noticed when I open the PDF in the browsers (Chrome) directly out of D&D beyond it appears to have everything. But when I save and open in Adobe Acrobat, there are things missing.
Currently the dndbeyond character builder doesn't seem to allow you to exchange the aberrant mind and clockwork soul subclass spells as you level up as the subclasses allow. If there is a way to do it and I don't see it please let me know how it can be done.
The feature I am referring to has the following text (for the clockwork soul sorcerer)
Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.
Any way to add a clickable or drop down on equipment that would indicate the item is kept on a mount (like a saddle) or in a bag of holding/portable hole so the weight isnt added to carried total?

AFAIK this is on the roadmap (containers), at least have been there for a while now. It's not a trivial change, because they want to add it properly, where you can track which item is in which container; with tracking the container's capacity (i.e. the weight limit for a Bag of Holding).

You can customize the items so they have weight zero, but that’s about it. Inventory management is on their list.
in general every time the user upload a image, constrained in a particular shape (circle, square) it is useful to let the users crop the image as they desire in order to avoid the image to be stretched or to let the user show the detail they desired.
note: this is also particularly important for homebrew creator tool.
I noticed that a lot of interesting magical items like the sword of zariel, moonblade, etc, have minor and major properties (actually, the theros book is full of them lol), but one issue with dndbeyond is that the items aren't actually integrated properly into character sheets. (I can't select minor and major properties within the items to apply to my character based on items equipped). Is there any way that these items can be integrated properly, so that i can make the most out of unique magic items in the sourcebooks of the site? Thanks.
Unless I'm missing something, there is currently no way on the character sheet to assign one of the blessings available in the DM's guide to a player. Particularly noteworthy given the Outsider Patron perks. Similarly, I don't see a way to imbue the minor/major benefits or penalties associated with powerful items.

You are correct that blessings are not currently supported here, nor are minor/major benefits. The first (blessings) will hopefully eventually be covered under the "general features" system that they hope to get to next quarter. Note, however, that new systems are usually rolled out piecemeal, so that doesn't mean that blessings will be supported from release of that system.
Major/minor properties will hopefully be addressed whenever they get around to the homebrew revamp, which is on the list, but not for next quarter. My own guess from things Adam/Badeye has said is that it's a far ways out (as in not in 2021 but later). In the meantime, you can make homebrew copies of magic items and add said properties.
I was thinking having the option to create folders under the Character creation area would be helpful. This would help to organize my collection i.e. have one for archived builds, theory craft ones, actual ones in a game, and NPC's or Villain's. I got board over the last few months and made over a 100 characters.

This has already been suggested and being considered.
In meantime you can create campaigns and add the characters to them - you can use these like folders/categories.

Hi, I'm fairly new with actively using D&D beyond and wanted to ask if there's been a method of simplifying the spell list on the digital character sheet? It felt a bit excessive to have the lower level spells repeated on the higher level spell slots. I only thought of the idea now after rolling a Nat20 on a weapon attack and saw the damage value on the digital dice changed to reflect the critical hit.
P.S. I'm sorry if someone's already asked this

This may have been answered elsewhere, but I had a hard time finding it.
I think we should have the ability to sort Known Spells by spell level, just like we can sort Add Spells by spell level.
The known spells are already sorted by spell level first, alphabetical second...

Correct, but the ability to sort them at later levels in a manner akin to the Add Spell area would be nice. That's all I'm saying.
I do not like it where if I click on the gear the drop-down is on the other side of the screen rather than conveniently below the gear.
