For the exported character sheet, I don't like that my Wand of Wonder shows up with my other Wizard spells. That should be its own section. Adding it to the Wizard's spell list just makes it confusing.
I love the charges check boxes on the magic items, and I think it would be nice to have check boxes on some of the mundane items as well, i.e. the healer's kit, to track how many uses are left. Maybe some other way for other items, i.e. ball bearings, as 1000 check boxes might be a bit much.
I am okay with the revamp on PC. That said, I primarily use the sheet on an iPad Pro. Currently, I find the new revamp infinitely more cumbersome on said device. In combat, I need spells and feats and HP. That is currently on THREE separate screens.
Three? HP are in the top right no matter what screen you're on. Though it does take three taps to get from spells to feats... but I don't think that's any worse than the old site.
Edit: Never mind, I see where you're coming from. I turned on iPad emulation in Chrome and hit points are gone.

Negative, HP is not on the top of my screen unless I am on the main page. It is missing from the Combat page, Spells page, and Actions page. So actually 4 different screens to see everything I need in combat. Mind you this is on an iPad Pro. The sheet is much more user friendly on the desktop version, but I cannot get to that even when toggling chrome to “desktop mode”. It is so bad I had to pull out my physical sheet and stop using the site.
Clicking around a bit with Chrome set to emulate a tablet, and now I see where all the complaints are coming from. Desktop mode is amazing, phone mode is amazing, tablet mode... has issues.
Adding a top menu to the tablet view would go a long way, I think. So would having hit points be always visible, the way they are in both desktop and phone view. And combine a few of those tabs that are currently split - the "Combat" tab should be merged with "Actions," for example, and add your saving throws just for good measure.
As my group's designated note-taker and loot-tracker, I game with my laptop open, but it would be nice to be able to use a tablet if I'm ever not in that role. (Fat chance of that, but a man can dream.) And it would also be nice for my fellow players to be able to use tablets.
Love campaign link on top of character sheet , to easily switch between characters in campaign . However is it possible to also switch to characters claimed by dm ? ( asking as dm). Would make my life easier managing sheets for a few players
This is unusable - I hate it. The old layout made all the information you need accessible on one page. This new structure violates all the software development laws of Apple - make it simple for the user with minimal navigation. I have to click about a dozen times to find all the information that I used to have right in front of me.
How can I switch back? I've paid for content here and really don't want to leave, but I use this site to manage my character during the game. I can't do that with this new layout. I either need an option to switch back to the original layout or I need to move on to other options and abandon this site entirely, which I don't want to do. But I can't stand the new structure and need to do something different before the next game.
Those of us that need the original layout, please let us know what we can do to switch back.
I honestly think the Fixed mode for the sidebar looks a lot better than the Overlay one, and wouldn't mind that being the default. That said, I do use a tree view sidebar for my browser tabs, so that may be why- the overlay mode goes over more content with the reduced horizontal space, while the fixed mode fits nicely. (Ideally, I'd like to be able to save my choices for these settings.)
I feel like the stuff at the top of the Combat tab might need to be globally accessible rather than in the tab. I refer to my AC/defenses/conditions much more often in combat than some of the other top-level character sheet things, and flipping back and forth between the other tabs for my combat abilities and then looking at my AC and such could be excessive.
I wouldn't mind something like clicking a second time on a spell level filters the spell list exclusively to spells of that exact level, instead of also showing upcasting info for lower level spells. There are times where I know I'm looking for specifically a (base) 5th level spell, and the lower level ones add a lot more that need to be scrolled past.
Massive positive step forward, the side bar quick reference for everything is great... except for the huge waste of space on iPad. There seems to easily be enough room to have the desktop view on there (or even just allow users to pick it). Even if the text was a bit small, it's much easier to pinch and zoom than it is to swap between all the screens.
Custom sorting of the items/stats/etc in windows would be nice. My primary weapon is toward the bottom of the Combat Window, as are Ki Points left etc. Not a huge deal, because you can scroll to have it located where you want it, but having it default to the top would be a friendly touch.
EDIT: You can customise a item name with a space at the front, which then sorts the item to the top of the list.
The equipment page is so much better, but now really highlights the need to be able to put things in containers.
I'm a fan overall! It'll take a while to adjust, but it seems very clean.
I definitely prefer the old PDF style. I'm familiar with the official sheet layout, and this makes it a little harder to find things. Again, I'll adjust.
For a Warlock PC, the spell sorting is a bit weird. I'd prefer the spells to be sorted by their spell level, instead of all being lumped into the level corresponding to my Pact Magic slots. I'll only ever have one slot level, so it basically makes the sorting useless.
Not being able to include my Pact of the Tome cantrips has been listed repeatedly in this thread. This is my biggest issues as well. I can add them in the notes section, like I did with my Book of Ancient Secrets, but it is inconvenient to not have them on the listing of spells.
The Senses are weird, I don't know of anyone who asks "What's you passive wisdom perception?" but rather "What's your passive perception?"
It didn't even register until I read your post but yes usually its "Passive Perception (Wis)" so you know the test and what ability you can use for it because the GM can call for different stat like "Passive Perception (Int)" which might be a bad example but "Passive Wis (Perception)" is a little weird for the same word/letter spacing, now that you mention it.

The lack of inflection in text means that a reader of any post adds their own inflection as they "verbalize" it in their head. I write long and repetitive in an effort to be clear and avoid my intent from being skewed or inverted. I am also bad at examples. It is common for people to skim my posts pull out the idea they think I mean or want to argue against or focus on my bad example instead of the point I am actually trying to make. I apologies for the confusion my failure to be clear and concise creates.
I have noticed a bug where you cant click wield in the equipment selection of the character creation section. It works if you expand the item and then select the lower wield button.
Excellent! Happy to have this live. I did detect one issue with the Accursed Spectre ability for Hexblade Warlocks calculating fractional HP:
Accursed Specter
When you slay a humanoid, you can to rise as a specter that gains 6.5temp HP. Roll initiative for the specter, which has its own turns. It obeys your verbal commands, gains a +5 bonus to its attack rolls, and remains until the end of your next long rest.

When selecting a portrait on mobile the mouse click point is offset. I had to tap on the portrait above the portrait I wanted to select.

Portrait doesn't display on linked character sheet, at least on mobile. Chrome on Galaxy 9+.

Really love it! All of the abilities to customize are awesome!

(From playing around with the Desktop view:)

This is great, always good to see an already great sight make improvements!
there are some aspect of the old character sheet that I did prefer, but I am sure your team is already working on the next great thing.
Sometimes that 20 is really a 1

For mobile and tablet users this is such a let down. Really poor design and ui for touch screens.
I was really looking forward to this update, but it seems like the designers have only thought about desktop users.
Its more cluttered, harder to read and way too many clicks going back and forth between tabs. When we play we don’t want to sit behind a laptop each.
I didn’t think I was going to be shocked of how bad this turned out to be, but sadly I was.
