This should be a simple request, but I'd like to see public homebrew material sortable by date. I'd like to track the newest material as it's released without using proxies like "views".
One minor detail: I seem to be unable to remove pictures uploaded to a homebrew. As it stands, to remove a picture requires creating a new build and copying everything manually.
Is there any way to homebrew an item that will give someone a spell. Currently, I have only found a way to give them an item from which to cast spells. But I would prefer if it could show up in their spell box as the spell rather than the item.
Possibly wrong section sorry. Is there a way for the items tagged with 'spoilers' to have those spoilers show up on the character sheet when the plus symbol is clicked on the item (in equipment, limited use, wielded, inventory areas e.g.). Would save having to go the the view details page to see it every time. If there is a way I'd love to know please!
Is it ever going to be possible to share monster statblocks with other people without having to publish them, I don't necessarily want to publish a variant of a monster that's only applicable to my campaign anyway

If you have Campaign Sharing turned on, you can link anyone in that campaign to your homebrew content's detail, and they will be able to access it from that! You will need a DM subscription in order to do this, or be in a campaign where someone else has a DM subscription.

You do not need a subscription to share Homebrew in this way, the effect is automatic. However to subscribe to outside homebrew, you still need to be a subscriber.
Not sure if this has been posted and the search feature isn't super helpful at identifying things, but I'd really like to see two things, 1 monster related and 1 DM related.
1) It would be AWESOME if we could have a simplified Monster "character sheet" that would allow for basic tracking, like spell slots/legendary actions used and hit point tracking. I'd love to be able to pull the monster up as it is and have that be all I need! It would also be useful since the spell descriptions and everything are already highlighted and linked in the stat block. I would fork over the $30 for the monster manual and let my physical copy sit on the shelf for the rest of my life if this happened.
2) I'd love a more sufficient and inclusive "DM hub". Right now, the notes section in the campaigns is super limited and I'd love to be able to have a "notebook" that let's you plan the campaign in the campaign area for easy access when you're playing with that group. But, I want it to stand out. I'd like to be able to link to locations in the Sword Coast Adventurer's guide when I'm planning on taking the party there, or including the direct link to the monster stat block in my session notes, or the magical items they're going to find, etc. I can already do this through third party apps and the power of the internet, but it'd be great to have it built into D&D Beyond so I can ditch the other systems.
You have to have a character in the same campaign as your friend. They can only access your Homebrew while creating characters in said campaign. Lastly if the issue persists, try to turn off and back on the homebrew toggle in the character creation menu. There is a bug which occurs involving this function sometimes. I hope this helps

Like I said, Characters no problem. I'm especially interested in sharing Monsters.
With homebrew races, is it possible or are there plans to allow limited use abilities to change based on factors? Right now you can only do a number, but having options for it being based on an ability score and/or your level would be ideal. For example, a race that can cast charm person a number of times equal to their charisma modifier per long rest.

Not for unpublished monster homebrew you can't.

That works for character options, not for monsters. SabreRunner and Override367 are asking about sharing homebrew monsters.

Ah, I didn't realize that! That's silly.
Yeah, every time I have to use GMBinder or another tool because something is arbitrarily gated on DNDbeyond it really grinds my gears
So far I've found that taking screenshots and linking them works okay but I wish it wasn't necessary

I know that the print function works pretty well, also! I do this for my own use as a DM, but I imagine you could print as PDF and use that as well. Also not ideal, but another option to explore.
Howdy. I was wondering what the usual turn around time for homebrew item from when a user submits a thing to when it get approved or rejected. I know that some entries can be wordy, and there are probably a lot, so I recognize it'll be no quick thing. A guesstimate would suffice. 2 week? 3?

I just tried that for sharing the homebrew creations and my friend can see the classes but not monsters.
Is there a way to share monsters?

Ditto for homebrew subclass abilities.
