I have tried to re-create some aspects of the old Planescape campaign, I have all the old books and some things are doable, but re-creating the factions in Sigil, for example, is quite difficult; particularly because most factions have class restrictions, ie: the Athars cannot be Clerics and are immune or resistant to clerical healing and spells like abjure, augury, bestow curse, curse, divination, enthrall, exaction, holy word and quest.
Adding benefits like immunities to specific spells are quite cumbersome currently, I should be able to just add from a dropdown benefit: "immunity", to "spell", then either type or select a spell from a list... Also, immunity to clerical healing should work the same way. I don't think it impossible to translate these bits via feats or maybe just creating like a faction emblem or item "ring of the Athar" fro example that provides the benefits of being in the said faction.
Perhaps I'm a bit lost? I just started using the platform and we love it, but there's still room for growth.
I understand, but there are such things as Class restrictions for items, so it shouldn’t be that hard to add that functionality into the Beyond Homebrew system. I guess I need to find the feature requests part of the forum
While it might not be that difficult, there are only so many devs to work on stuff, so they will prioritize based on what people vote for in the requests.

Class restrictions for items exist in the attunement field, which can already be done in homebrew. If you want to make something only usable by a wizard, you enter in the attunement field "a wizard". When you save the item it'll say "Requires attunement by a wizard"
Thanks for the info, I work on software hardware support myself, which is why i come here and poke experienced users FIRST, then escalate thru the appropriate channels. Thanks for the help!

The attunement field is "cosmetic only" and doesn't actually enforce anything in the sheet. For example, my fighter can attune to a Doss lute, which should be bard only.

All of those modifiers are not supported by the tools, at least at this time.
If its not something that an official 5e race/class/feat/spell/etc does, then the tools probably don't support it.

DDB uses Zendesk to manage their feature requests. This is the link to the request page.

Awesome sauce, thanks for the tip!
