So I've been reading a bit into it, and am likely going to run the Shemshime’s Bedtime Rhyme adventure, with a few modifications on my end to make it work for the campaign I'm running. But my question: In the adventure they mention that people are humming the rhyme....but what is the rhymes musical cadence? What tune are they humming? Obviously the rhyme, but what does it SOUND like? I'd like to be able to find an audio file and play it on Roll20 to further creep my players out!

Sadly, I have not. I was just thinking about this the other day too, as I'm about to start that particular adventure. It's a bit disheartening that even in my musical library, I can't seem to find a cadence for it.

The plotline kind of reminds me of an episode of the TV show 'Evil' titled 7 Swans a Singin'. In that episode the cursed earworm in question is from Pudsy's Christmas by Jonathan Coulton (Warning: Marijuana References). If you can can find the audioclip of the schoolkids wordlessly singing the tune it is pretty creepy.
You may want to do the vocals yourself with the instrumental version, but I found this on Reddit and it's brilliant. My group will be doing a Halloween-adjacent version of this next weekend using the ideas in this post from the generous soul who set it to "Kidnap the Sandy Claws" from Nightmare Before Christmas. Hope this helps someone :)

You take a few seconds of Hi Ho, or something similar, and loop it.
It is not I who am Mad, it is I who am Krazy!

Art, stories, guerilla positivity. Shiny!
This one is great. Used it for a game I was running last year and gave the right kind of creepiness.

This is the one I used that both really creeped out my players and got stuck in our heads for the next couple weeks:

I made it sound like the Freddy Kruger song.
