Seems to be a lot of focus on how you play. Perhaps they're testing the ground for a VTT or which they shoukd direct 2024e, either to physical or electronic.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
"We just made this big purchase and acquired the leading digital toolset for our game! ...do you use it? Also which of our books is a waste of time and which ones can we guarantee will turn a profit? Do you buy random swag or should we stop making it? Do you actually PLAY D&D or do you just kinda heckle it from the sidelines like Statler & Waldorf? What products can we make that you'd be guaranteed to buy? Tell us! No, really - tell us! ...TELL US, NOW!!"
For those who do not quite have the time to take the rather long survey, there were two main themes for the survey - how you like to play and how you spend money.
For how to play, it asked questions on the following topics: In person versus virtual play, and what virtual platform you use; how often you play; whether you use content as written or homebrew (and went through book by book to respond to each individually); how many groups you are in; how many new players you interact with; all the standard questions about how long you have played and what editions you have played; what you like to see in new books; and what products you use to enhance your game experience. It also had some questions about whether you like the direction the game is going.
The financial questions asked things like how much you have spent on various products (both books and things like miniatures and other supplemental products); how much you spent on physical versus virtual; how much money your household makes per year; what factors make you purchase a new product; etc.
Overall, fairly broad set of questions that made sense from a corporation trying to better figure out how to utilise their recent $143 million acquisition, as well as trying to figure out how to better market a product that is growing at a rapid rate.
Yeah, that survey was long. I'm pretty sure I've taken another that had basically all of the same questions, this one was just updated to include some of their more products and ask which products from previous editions you update to D&D 5e (presumably to see which are the most popular ones that they could update to 5e in the future).

Please check out my homebrew, I would appreciate feedback:
I feel like I've taken this survey before. I think they run these questions on a semi-regular basis once or twice a year just as a means of taking the pulse of the community. Not sure it portends any huge changes on the horizon.
Have you realised? When they ask about digital games, there is an optional list of titles. This may be some clue of future partnerships or licences, like the surveys for Fortnite and later we see new collabs. These list is a sign of possible targets by Hasbro. I feel a lot of curiosity for a D&D version of a faming simulation (+RPG) as Stardew Valley.
It's a big list of questions that can be summed up as "what have you bought, what do you actually use, and what will/would you buy in the future?" Pretty straightforward way of asking people what they want more of.

If I can't say something nice, I try to not say anything at all. So if I suddenly stop participating in a topic that's probably why.

Interestingly, Wizards finally acknowledge Strixhaven as an adventure instead of a sourcebook in the survey. I wonder if DDB will reflect that.
I have a weird sense of humor.
I also make maps.(That's a link)

Spells, Monsters, Subclasses, Races, Arcknight Class, Occultist Class, World, Enigmatic Esoterica forms
I find it curious why anybody would take the survey if they don't own or play D&D.

Jander Sunstar is the thinking person's Drizzt, fight me.
Or maybe people that just watch Critical Role but don't play and see the survey online somewhere, maybe?

Or people who want to play and collect the books but can’t actually find a group.
