My players all use my account to make characters, is it possible to invite their characters into a campaign on here? Basically is it possible to invite yourself into a campaign?
To share content via a campaign requires someone in the campaign (not necessarily the DM) to have a Master Tier Subscription and activate content sharing.
That said, characters transferred to another account via unsassign/reclaim will not lose anything you have added, but when they level up or change spells etc they won't be able to access your content unless content is shared with them.
I run a game with my family and another family. This is not a situation where each player can have a device or an account. is there a solution where I can add their characters to the campaign myself, and they can look at and update their sheets between games? Can one account have multiple characters in the same game? If so, then the mother can make an account & create characters for all of the children.

Yes, Mom can have the children’s’ characters on her account and have them all in the campaign dad DMs. If there are not enough devices to go around, the character sheets can be exported to PDF and printed out on paper for a session. Changes can be made to the digital sheets between sessions and then re-exported and re-printed or those updates can also be tracked on the existing paper sheets.
Each account can also be active on up to three devices. So if there are only two children and mom, mom’s account could be open on up to three devices (computers, phones, tablets) and mom+2 could each have their own characters open on a different device, no need for paper.
However, DDB accounts are free, so if every child has their own account it will make things easier in some ways.
And if only one account in the whole campaign has a Master Tier subscription, content sharing can be enabled and then every character in that campaign can all use every players’ purchased materials, up to a dozen players/PCs per campaign.
I have a master account and have created a bunch of NPCs through the character builder for a campaign I run. I have started a "campaign" section on D&DBeyond, but I'm not sure how to add the NPCs I have created to the campaign for easy reference.

You've found the right thread. Luckily the process hasn't changed in 2 years:
So, I have copied the Campaign link into the browser and get to the Join a campaign, However it will not allow me to click on a premade character to add them to the campaign.
Characters that are already in a campaign are greyed out.

Characters can't be in two different campaigns at the same time. In practice this would be problematic: if you'd take damage in one campaign for instance, the character sheet would show the character to have fewer hit points in the other as well. You can make a copy (there's a button for just that purpose if you look in your character collection) of the character sheet if you want to have similar characters in different campaigns though.

How do you add character built in the DND beyond app to a campaign on the browser? I can't just copy and follow a link in the app and if I follow the link my DM sent me it asks for characters that were only made in the browser

I think you can just by pasting invite link into browser.
We advise that your players should all have their own accounts, so they can access their characters.
You can transfer the characters over from your account to theirs within a campaign though. :)

Would the other players have access to the Books I have purchased from the marketplace, if I'm the DM?

I recently bought Tales of the Yawning Portal. How do I add players to it, and how do/would I run it?

You either have to remove it from one campaign before adding it to another, or you have to make a “copy” of it.
