The mobile apps are being developed in parallel to the core website (the staff working on the apps are different people to those working on the website), so the roadmap priorities shouldn't result in any direct delays to the apps.
That said - there is no scheduled release date for the apps, as Curse want to ensure that they are complete and fully tested.
The mobile version of the site works exceptionally well however. I'm not even sure why we need an app other than just to have one.
The primary reason is that the native app for mobile will allow offline access, for those who game in a location without access to the internet, or want to read through the rules without consuming their mobile data.

This is something that I wasn't even expecting :D

Has this been confirmed that the app will have offline access to your content (Rules)? if it does that will we awesome.
Yes, this has been confirmed as a core design principle of the native apps.
Obviously, it will need to synch up to your account to download the content in the first place, but the idea is you can read through the compendium rules/adventures, without consuming data or needing to be online.

Thanks for the info. This is definitely good news.
When do we get early access to the mobile app for pre-ordering Xanthar's?

There's no date yet, maybe we'll know more in the Livestream this coming Tuesday 21st (I don't think they'll announce anything here in the forums before then, since it's in three days).

Out of curiosity, do you know a rough expectation of when the app might be released? so far everything is awesome

The Launch is done, any chance on a release date for an app (world wide Android/iOS)?
All we have is this tweet:
"High level roadmap: character builder/ sheet improvements, mobile app, encounter builder, monster progression, and stream integration!"

But we know the app is one of the HIGHEST items on their list and is being produced with highest priority.

Makes sense. Do you know if it will enter a beta phase much like the website?

Would love an ios option for the content
I use Safari and they have it so it is converted to look more like an app rather than desktop version. Its rather useful actually!
