If I haven’t offended you, don’t worry. I’m sure I’ll get to you eventually.
After buying a potion of invulnerability for each of you four, Ben, and the dragon, you have 2984 gp left.
you guys won the initiative, so you’re up first! Who was controlling the dragon again?
All of the non-casters in this tracker are 60 and 65 ft away in two lines, (about 60 cr wide) with the death lock, wizard, and white dragon 75 ft away, behind them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(I got the dragon)
Count will start the fight by casting Haste via scroll on the dragon, Vermithrax
Sir Spitz to hold his ground and dodge
Now for Vermithrax's turn... the dragon will fly (160' movement with haste) down to the end of the enemy line (10' away from anyone) and will use its lightning breath right down the line (trying to get the 5' wide lightningto catch both rows of "fromt liners"), DC 19 dex ST or tale 69 lightning damage, half on successful save. Then the dragon will fly to be right above the wizard. Haste action will drink potion of invulnerability.
Legendary actions (triggered after a creatures turn so I'll mention them now):
1) tail attack the wizard Attack: 4 plus 17 Damage: 15
2) wing attack: The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 16 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed (80 feet with haste) straight up.
Nadir will simply stay put and watch the Dragon do its work. How can anyone stand against such a force of nature? Or is it natural, or born from magic? A question to the scholars... should she ever return to her normal life.
Did we assume we quaffed the potions of Invulnerability already or will that be an action or bonus action here in round 1?
I assumed I drink it when it looks necessary as it only lasts for 10 rounds and most damage might be from melee attacks? The Dragon might have thinned out their lines significantly already, though. Overall, I'm not sure how to act best in this encounter.

>> Dolrik's turn goes off first, bonus action Sanctuary on Rawrer for his distractions and action Bless at 3rd level for Ben, Count, Godric, Nadir and Yoku.
Yoku takes his Oathbow and whispers in Elvish to it, "Swift death to you who have wronged me." Then without missing a beat, he casts Hunter's Mark on the Adult White Dragon
Yoku Attack vs White Dragon, 1+10+9, damage 6+6+6 Yoku Attack vs White Dragon, 1+20+9, damage 1+5+6 Yoku Haste Attack vs White Dragon, 1+20+9, damage 3+6+6 Colossus Slayer damage 3 Sneak Attack damage 5+5
Ben will throw a bead from his necklace of fireball, 25 fire damage DC 15 Dexterity Save for half. He wants to hit as many enemies as possible in the 20 foot radius blast (40 foot square, namely bandits and orcs)
Yoku remaining HP 86/86, remaining arrow 37/40, remaining spell slots (3/4), (2/2), remaining fey step 3/3, haste 9/10 Ben remaining HP 86/86, remaining spell slots (4/4), (2/2), remaining beginners luck 2/2, necklace of fireballs (3/4), absorption 20/20, invulnerability 9/10
Count will start the fight by casting Haste via scroll on the dragon, Vermithrax
Sir Spitz to hold his ground and dodge
Now for Vermithrax's turn... the dragon will fly (160' movement with haste) down to the end of the enemy line (10' away from anyone) and will use its lightning breath right down the line (trying to get the 5' wide lightningto catch both rows of "fromt liners"), DC 19 dex ST or tale 61 lightning damage, half on successful save. Then the dragon will fly to be right above the wizard. Haste action will drink potion of invulnerability.
Legendary actions (triggered after a creatures turn so I'll mention them now):
1) tail attack the wizard Attack: 2 plus 18 Damage: 13
2) wing attack: The dragon beats its wings. Each creature within 10 feet of the dragon must succeed on a DC 20 Dexterity saving throw or take 13 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. The dragon can then fly up to half its flying speed (80 feet with haste) straight up.
That drops all the bandits, severely injures both bandit captains, injured the black guard, severely injures the bugbear chief, the chain devil, injured the champion, froghemoth, and kills all the orcs.
Nadir will simply stay put and watch the Dragon do its work. How can anyone stand against such a force of nature? Or is it natural, or born from magic? A question to the scholars... should she ever return to her normal life.

The abjured wizard uses his reaction to negate 22 of the damage to the dragon. It shoots three arcane burst attacks at your dragon, hitting with two and dealing a good bit of damage (tracked in the encounter tracker) the dragon retaliates and hits with a tail attack.
Thevwhite dragon flies over towards your entire group, stopping 30 ft off and catching you all in its cold breath. Dc19 con save or 34 cold damage, half on success.
Bith bandit captains hit your dragon a couple times for a small bit of damage. The blackguard also hits the dragon with a crit for 25 damage, bloodying it. The bugbear chief also hits for a small bit of damage.
The champion Hits it with a crit for 30 damage. The chain devil hits it twice, the dragon is now severely injured and grappled by the chain devil.
The death lock hits her as well, nearly taking her down.
The froghemoth takes her town with a bite attack. You guys are up!
death save for the dragon @count

I'm not sure it's going to matter, but every little bit should help
Ben will throw a bead from his necklace of fireball, 28 fire damage DC 15 Dexterity Save for half. He wants to hit as many enemies as possible in the 20 foot radius blast (40 foot square, namely bandits and orcs)
Could Ben's fireball hit the White Dragon and some smaller monsters? The order of turns got muddled and I didn't see the impact of this 28 damage, 14 on a save
Thevwhite dragon flies over towards your entire group, stopping 30 ft off and catching you all in its cold breath. Dc19 con save or 34 cold damage, half on success.
The dragon took the potion of invulnerability so all the damage it took should have been halved, plus the dragon should be 80' above them (legendary action can be used after another creatures turn so he could used them after our turns and flown up) plus hopefully some of them fell prone for that fireball. Also it's ac is increased by the haste spell Count cast on it if that avoids anything.
(Though I feel like there is more of a fight without the dragon so maybe that's enough to justify letting him fall for the moment)

Yoku attempts a Con Save DC 19 vs 2+17+6
Ben attempts a Con Save DC 19 vs 4+17+5
Yoku takes 17 damage and Ben takes half for 9 damage
Yoku makes a concentration constitution save DC 10 vs 3+9+6

At a minimum, having the dragon tank with damage resistance is a great strategy for the first round, while we get off our AoE attacks
Yoku uses his bonus action to disengage, moving around Count, to avoid melee
Yoku Attack vs White Dragon, 4+14+9, damage 6+6+6 Yoku Extra Attack vs White Dragon, 3+14+9, damage 6+4+6 Yoku Haste Attack vs White Dragon, 4+19+9, damage 5+1+6 Colossus Slayer damage 4 Sneak Attack damage 3+5
Ben will throw bead number two from his necklace of fireball, 22 fire damage DC 15 Dexterity Save for half. He wants to hit the white dragon without hitting allies. If that's not possible, then he will focus on hitting the maximum number of targets without hitting allies.
Yoku remaining HP 69/86, remaining arrow 34/40, remaining spell slots (3/4), (2/2), remaining fey step 3/3, haste 8/10 Ben remaining HP 79/86, remaining spell slots (4/4), (2/2), remaining beginners luck 2/2, necklace of fireballs (2/4), absorption 20/20, invulnerability 8/10
